community service
I have to do 5 hours of community service for school and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do that would involve things that I like to do. Some things I like to do that might involve any kind of community service are being with little kids and dancing. Any help would be appreciated... thanks.

Babysitting, if you go to a church you could do sunday school type of activies for community service hours. Or go to a daycare center and ask if you could help for free, and for community service!

I dont know where you are but if your having winter right now like i am (ohio) you could shovel for the elderly! thats perfect.. or if your in a warmer climate you could do stuff as simple as racking leafs!!! And if your a builder you could help the city build somthing! just do things you enjoy and take then to your advanage

when i was alot younger, i was in girl scouts, and i know that we loved it when an older kid came to help us out. u would have alot of fun and get to hang out with little kids.

Teach a child to read. Sometimes all they need is a little attention to make their life easier. Or tutor them with your homework. Your school counselor or person at the YMCA can probably help you out.

at you could try doing is omunity service for youre nearest library. they sometimes have kids actviites in the summer. or volunteer at a preeschool to help pass of snaks ...etc. hope you find what youre looking for! have fun :)- Amanda

You could work at a day care center and help there or something..but other then that im not sure about anything that involves kids..you could volunteer to help at a school that you used to go to or something..or if you have younger siblings..hope i helped **x0x0x

i think it would be really cool to do some kind of help hotline. we have this place called teen link, and u can do community service ther. hope i helped!

well if you like kids and dancing then go to a local dance school for children around the age you want to help with and voluteer to help instruct for a while itll be fun

well if you have a younger sibling that plays sports, you can assistant coach his or her sports team. It's very fun and a quick way to get the servie done.

What about volunteering at a childrens hospital? or a Day Care.

Hey!! I know a really fun community service opportunity that has to do with little kids. I recently got involved in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program andi love it. I have a little brother who is in 2nd grade and he is adorable. We meet once a week for an hour and a half at a local community hall. We play games, i help him with his homework, and he tells me about his day. I got to pick if i wantea boy or a girl and how old etc... It is a wonderful experience and I didn't think i would come so attached to my kid!! I like it a lot more then i would and you rack up community service hours real quick. you xan get a group0 of some of your friends together and clean up a retention pond or pick up trash in a neighborhood that really needs it!! You can cut your hair for he locks for cancer society, and count however long it takes.... yea, im all out. if your part of a religous group and you go preaching , ive heard that also counts.
