My dad is always playing halo 2 on X-box live and lately he has been acting like the teenagers on there and he is 38 years old. And today he asked me to do something and when I did it, it was wrong and he said he was going to beat my ass. and I said do it and i will call the cops and he said call them now so they can take you away bitch. and that mad me so sad and I am crying right now and before he played halo he was so nice but now I hate him but when he isnt playing it he is nice sometimes and he yells at me all the time. WOW 13! you shouldnt be treated like that..especially at 13! What you could do is tell a family member about this...when i talked to my aunt about her gettting mad at me because of somtheing small i would call her an she would talk me through it and it'd be ok after a while. tell them about this game and maybe they will take it or hide it or consult your dad and say a few things about how hes been acting differnt. family will always be there for you. stick to this you will get through! good luck!:) ill pray for you :) *amanda*

okay, so "my friends" birthday is coming up and she promised herself when she was 9 that when she turned 16 shes gonna commit suicide. i dont no what to do. please give me some advice that i can tell her to stop her before its too late.

Tell a parent or older mentor that you feel close and comfortable with to talk about it. im sure you have alot of feelings locked up inside. letting them out to someone will help alot. there is no reason you or your friend should lose a life. hope this helps good luck :) *amanda*

yOU COULD tell your mom about this whole ordeal and ask to give your friends mom a call to explain. then maybe you could get on the phone and appoligize and say nothing like this will ever happen again. and she will prob. accept her appoligizy and the whole thing will be over and done with! good luck! hope this helps :) *amanda* RATE ME!

Since October last year, I haven't been having a proper lunch at school. At first it was because I just wasn't as hungry as I used to be and I didn't need to eat. Now, I do get hungry at lunch but I don't like bringing in a lunch from home and I hate queuing in the lunch hall to buy a school meal, I never have money to buy it anyway. My friends have started to comment on how thin I am getting, I have always had a slim build but now they say I am getting too thin. I can see what they mean, I am thinner but I haven't lost any weight at all. I don't think I am overweight or anything but they think I have an eating disorder. I know I don't, how can I get them to see that? (link)

Contact youre doctor to confirm there is nothing wrong,such as an eating disorder. Then Tell your friends you went to see the doctor to make sure there is nothing wrong and he(or she) said there wasnt that wat your friends will know since the doctor confirmed it. Ok. There is this girl at our school and like 2 monthes ago, i got the same shoes as her. Now, yesterday she wore these shoes to school and my friend and I alreayd have them but we were just too scared to wear them. I have to do 5 hours of community service for school and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do that would involve things that I like to do. at you could try doing is omunity service for youre nearest library. they sometimes have kids actviites in the summer. or volunteer at a preeschool to help pass of snaks ...etc. hope you find what youre looking for! have fun :)- Amanda

I'm 10lbs underweight, I need to gain weight. Now that I identified the problem I want to fix it, but I think I have an eating disorder. I hate to eat around other people and some days I don't eat at all. How can I gain weight? I look anorexic. (link)

What you could do is either see youre doctor just to make sure nothing major is wrong like anorexia. then what you could do is keep a food journal. you write down everything thing you eat a day in order and write the time before it. My cousin was so skinny my aunt got her a food journal because my cousin literally looked anerexic. after a month or so she was in shape and was skinny but heathy and no longer anerexic looking. My parents got divorced and i'v been living with my mom, brother, and step-dad for over a year. I feel really bad for my dad because he lives alone and seems lonley. I think he should get a pet too bt he works and say`s he wouldn`t be able to take care of it and stuff. I think i want to live with my dad, but if i do i know my mom will cry and get alll upset.. :/ what should i do or say?! Plez help (link)

what you could do is right before you talk to her say, mom i dont want to hurt youre feeling and this has no affence to you and say what you wanna say about why you want to go over there and ask if you could try it for a while and you'll visit everyweekend or stay w/ your dad every other week. hope this helps :) good luck!-xox- *amanda*

Okay, two of my best friendsare really good friends between themselves too, but they fight ALOT!! i try to just sit them down and talk to them, and sometimes i'm the go-between, but right now im caught in the middle. Like, at lunch today, they were in the middle of a fight, and not even sitting at the same table, and both wanted me to sit with them, but i didn't wanna choose a side, so i sat with some of my other friends, and they both got mad at me for that!! i have swimming every-other day first hour at my school. basically, we have to swim for 50 minutes, and then we get 10 minutes to shower - change- and get ready, and then itsoff to our next class. i`m very much a girly-girl, hardly ever seen without my makeup on and spend over an hour getting ready for things. I NEED HELP how am i suposed to get ready in 10 minutes?! and how can i do my hair really cute when it`s wet?? i don`t really care about not having time to put on my make up, because i don't really want to be known as the barbie. BUT i dont want to have gross nasty hair either! HELPPPP (link)

either put in in a bun or bring moose hairspray and a hair brush and style it! it'll look totally cute! the make-up thing is which would you rather spend more time on your hair more make-up so if you dont have enough time atleast one will be done. the fastest way to do it is put ut hair in a quick bun and start doing ur make-up. it only takes like 1 minute to put your hair in a bun. so u have 9 more minutes of make-up time. if you have extra time you could always fix youre hair how you REALLY wanted it to look! have fun :)! hope it helped xox- ♥

16/f. I've been really curious about tanning salons. I really want to go to one, but my mom is kind of hesitant to let me do such a thing. Aside from it looking "fake", is it as dangerous as a tan from the sun, or is it less harmless? Also, my arms are tan (I have a "farmers tan") from wearing short sleeves, but I can't wear tank tops, show my stomach or even wear low cut tops (I don't want to wear TOO low cut tops, but right now, everything under my neck line is white...) and I want to get rid of that, so how would I even it out in a tanning bed? you would be able to even out your tan in a tanning bes. my whole family has been going for years! my cousin gets farmers tan all the time. so she tries going to the tanning salon and lying in a bed. it wont work the first time you should prob. go 1ce and week or once every two weeks after a while your skin should be looking even and u will have a nice tan! hope it helped have fun :)! xoxo amanda

i waz having problems with my dog and biting to. what you do it when he bites take ur hand away and say NO! harshly. also get some rope toys and other toys that will keep in ocupied. you have to teach the dog that biting is bad. so yell NO! and keep reapeating this. dogs are just trying to keep their teeth from hurting ...thats what the toys are for. hope this helps! -amanda1291

Omg..what do I do when I want to get my nose pierced and my parents aren't open up to it? Like..it's my dad I'm mostly worried about. He doesn't get it. He's just like "No..it looks ugly I dont want you to do that." But does he NOT understand that at any time I want I can take it out? It may leave a tiny mark but nothing major because my sister has had it done before and she hasn't like worn it in a year or more..and theres no mark unless you look really closely (which isnt bad at all)...
I mean Im gonna be 15 in March and I dont want it for my birthday..but like say if I wanted it for this coming christmas -- how can I maybe get them to consider it?? It's really hard though I'm warning you...
I was talking to my dad today and was like "So..what? you're not even gonna TRY to consider it as something I can do?" and he's like "as far as Im concerned its a no." and so Im like "THEN WHEN WILL YOU CONSIDER IT and really think about it??" and hes like "not now..I dont know."
But hes not gonna let me get it -- bottom line. I am not a spoiled person..and I am not a bad kid at all. I dont smoke anything, I dont do drugs or drink...the most I do is have an attitude or anger problems around the house and Im trying to work on that but I cant when they piss me off and my sister acts like another MOTHER to me (which I dont need right now)...
Should I make a list of what it WON'T do? Like what I mean is -- should I write down on a piece of paper stuff like "1. it wont be permanant...2. I can take it out anytime."...etc.
...and like.. just say all the bright sides about it? Because I really would make a list..I want it that bad and I dont want to wait until I move out because I dont want to get it when I'm older. I want peopel I knwo rto get used to me having it NOW before I get older..ya know?
I'm not doing it to fit in with anybody either..or just to be different than anyone else. I'm simply considering doing it because I want to be different then what I am now. I mean it's not like I'm getting a tattoo where it will be permanant..and it's not like people will point and LAUGH at me..I mean Im not gonna be the only one in the world with it done and if I ghave my ears pieced from liek when I was 7 then I dont understand why I cant have my nose pierced..even when Im 16
I told my dad "well 16 year olds can buy cars and pay bills for those cars but YOU wont let me get a nose piercing?" That kind of made him think..but he still said no.
But anyways..sorry for the longness of this question but if anyoen has been in teh same situation then please help. I really want this. I'd be so happy. =)

well maybe they will consider a tiny stud. not noticable but it still looks cute! if they really dont like it say ok ill take it out. but you have to let me get it done for christmas or my b-day. if they agree dont push it. parents get adgitated after a while. say thank you and just try to keep a good rep. by then. hope this helps! rate me! xox- Amanda1291

i have alittle sister who is 7! i can totally relate! they wanna know everything. and the always blab everything! what you could do is buy a diary with a lock and key that why she cant open it. make sure you hid the key in a good spot she wouldnt suspect. i hid min under my lava lamp cap.haha she still hasnt found it. they just wanna be like you and do everything you do. dont worry sooner or later she wont wanna talk to you because shes to busy with her friends. hope this advice helps!
