Hello. I am a Twin! I live in a family of 5 (including my self) I dont have any major problems in my life which is somthing i am truly greatfull for! I have a 17 yr old nephew that I am fairly close too and really care about, yet not close enough where he trusts me enough to talk openly and honestly with me.
A couple of weeks ago he got into some trouble in school. This is the story he told his parents (my sister is his mom) and the school principal. A kid his age threatened to beat him up in sixth period, and even shoot him. Come sixth period, the guy took a swing at my nephew, infront of all the other students as well as the teacher, my nephew ducked, then punched the guy in the face. Then everyone was cheering them on when the another teacher broke it all up. Long story short, my nephew gets suspended, and since this was his third suspension, all for stupid, stupid actions on his part, he was sent to a local continuation high school. Coincidently enough, so was the bully who threatened him.
I fear for my nephew. I want his entire family to move out of their bad neighborhood, but they are too scared to face the facts. I am on the outside looking in, and I can only imagine what the future holds for my nephew and his other siblings.
My nephew appears to have no aspirations for anything. I have always been the nice uncle who has freely experienced the world. I want to help him, I want him to see that there is a HUGE world out there just waiting for him, but how? How do I help him see outside his little box?
If your close you need to try to talk to him. you may be the only person to try to get him to understand what he is doing is wrong.

My mum told me today that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She will have to have an operation and go through radiotherapy. I'm so worried- she will have to be in hospital for 4 days then go once every day. I'd be thankful for any information about the symtoms of radiotherapy and cancer, ways to make her feel better about it and any other things that would be useful. Thank you.
Awwww I'm soo sry to hear that! Not to worry you but my grandmother died from breast cancer. But she was sick a long time and did nothing about it untill it was tooo late! Good luck with all!!

I currently live in London and may be moving to either Philadelphia in America or Melbourne in Australia. Iv'e been to Melbourne before but don't know what it would be like living there. What the would be schools like, e.c.t.

Hello! I live in United States! America is an awsome country when it comes to safty! The Schools are probaly alot better then you thought they would be. Had to get hold of healthy foods? hahaha yeah there is alot of fast food (greasy food) in united states but there always salids and fruit! Also in america there are alot of gyms and such to helpyou stay fit and thin. Their is alot of people over weight in america!

I have to do 5 hours of community service for school and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what I could do that would involve things that I like to do. I dont know where you are but if your having winter right now like i am (ohio) you could shovel for the elderly! thats perfect.. or if your in a warmer climate you could do stuff as simple as racking leafs!!! And if your a builder you could help the city build somthing! just do things you enjoy and take then to your advanage
Okay, two of my best friendsare really good friends between themselves too, but they fight ALOT!! i try to just sit them down and talk to them, and sometimes i'm the go-between, but right now im caught in the middle. Like, at lunch today, they were in the middle of a fight, and not even sitting at the same table, and both wanted me to sit with them, but i didn't wanna choose a side, so i sat with some of my other friends, and they both got mad at me for that!! What can i do? they wont even listen to me!!
Yes, I know what your talking about!!! Dont get in the middle of it!! Just let them work it out.. If your like how my friend can be somtimes they will be with me and start talking about eachother! The best thing to do is if they do that is to just tell them to stop.

i've had a knee problem for quite awhile. my doctor put me on "extreme resting", consisting of as little walking as possible, no juming, no running, no P.E., no going fast, no sports. period.
i've been doing this for 2 months, with no avail to my problems. i have a second MRI thursday, but i am becoming discouraged that i'll ever be able to do the things i enjoy again. how can i stay motivated?

Do you do any sports? I do cheerleading and my knee will hurt after a game. If you do wear a knee brace! It helps! Even just the elastic ones not the back ones! it doesnt matter! I have an elastic one and i think they work just the same!! See if this helps!!! Send me a question back anwering my question please maybe i can talk to my friend and some other people who have knee braces and come up with some reasons for ya!

All places need some parental permission... Honesy you should go to your parents even just your mom and talk to her about it and maybe she can help you.. I think this is a good idea. You dont have to tell her you have even though you should but tell her your thinking about it... It acualy depends how old you are.... ?

Crush!!! If your like me you rather talk about things like in love with people online rather then in person! Heres a good trick! On Friday after school talk to him online about it! Tell him that you think you like him and ask him if he likes you! Maybe it will work out! then if it doesnt you wont be so embarrased in math because you will have a little time (the weekend) for both of you to think it over! And If you both like eachother make the first move! it wont hurt a bit! Well I hope I helped!
