i highly doubt you can get a virus froma company as reptuable as AOL, but it might be possible that someone ( a really rude someone) could give you a virus. Just read AOL's privacy policy!

No, the only way you can get a virus is from clicking a link that has a virus in it.

You can get viruses from almost anything. There are viruses that have stuff to do with AOL or AIM or whatever. Like once I got that one virus that you click on that is in someones profile and it automatically deletes yours and it goes in your profile too. Like it'll say Look, I have an embarassing picture of %n (which is the screenname) and then you click becaue you want to see the picture but it's really a virus. Lucky for me I know how to delete those. But pretty much if you clink an unknown link from an unknown person then it's possible to get a virus. Don't click the link if you don't know the site.

Not nessicarly but you could. If you give them your e-mail address they can send you a virus. They may also be able yo send you a virus in the chatroom or through IM. Don't click on any links because they usually contain really messed up viruses if you nkow what I mean. So just be safe ♥.

Yes, you can. By opening up a instant messenger by an unknown user can bring in tons of viruses. Don't open any websites they send you. im them first. As far as just going in to chat rooms im really not sure. Hope i could help! kelly

Nope, you can't get any viruses if your in an AOL chatroom or if you're talking to someone. You can only get them if you click on one of those links in it. Hope I helped :)

if its a private chatroom (a chatroom where only the people you invite can get in) then no. if you're going into a public chatroom (a chatroom where no one sent you an invitation or you didnt send anyone an invitation to go in) than yes.
