xlostangelx answered Wednesday January 12 2005, 1:05 pm: you just have to experiment with different kinds of facewash...it took me about a year of experimenting with face washes to finally find one that works for ME. what works for me is Clearasil Daily Face Wash-Sensitive skin. it works miracles for me, but then again, it doesn't work for my sister. it all depends on your face and the type of skin you have. try new things out and you'll finally settle on something you like. if after experimenting with face washes, you still can't find one that is starting to clear up your face...see the doctor. they can give you certain medicine that will help clear up your face. well, good luck and i hope i helped. take care and please dont hesitate to get back to me if you need more help.

naTralswtneSs answered Wednesday January 12 2005, 12:56 am: I had a friend who felt the same way and she tired so many things but now shes trying: Clearasil Ultra and it says to use it three times a day, she uses it once a day and it seemed like her acne is going away and also shes uses clearasil soap when shes washes her face. Other then that I think maybe proactive will work Ive never used it so I cant promise anything, hope I helped! [ naTralswtneSs's advice column | Ask naTralswtneSs A Question ]
dreamingkat answered Tuesday January 11 2005, 11:48 pm: My sister and I found that ProActiv ( [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) ) worked well for us. Neither of us used all 3 parts, we both used the cleanser, and I think she used the toner and I used the lotion, but it's been so long I honestly don't remember. I know I didn't use it every day because it was too harsh for me.
There are also prescriptions for acne if you have access to a doctor.
There are a lot of theories about what causes acne, and I'm not sure anyone really knows (although a lot of people claim to). No single medication works for everyone. You'll have to experiment to find out what works best for you. It's important to give each thing you try enough time - nothing will work overnight. Also, many acne products make your skin more sensitive to the sun - don't use more than one of those at a time without a doctors supervision.
angel411 answered Tuesday January 11 2005, 11:22 pm: I don't get pimples so I'm not sure but I've heard oxy and neutrogena are good brands for getting rid of them! Wash your face evernight before bed and use cleansing cloths. ♥ [ angel411's advice column | Ask angel411 A Question ]
Shelbyjune answered Tuesday January 11 2005, 11:00 pm: Chocolate does not create pimples. Milk products has been known to create pimples, but frankly, you should just wash your face twice daily. My daughter uses Clearasil Advanced which helps her pimples disappear really well. When you wash your face, do not use soap (like deodorant soap-ugh!). Neutragena or some of the clarifying cleansers they have out are today are good. Be careful not to dry out your skin. If it feels taut and shows some flakes, find a moisturizer that does NOT have any oil in it but will make your skin feel fresh.
Pimples are part of growing up, for the most part. Cleaning your face twice a day plus moisturizing, masquing once a week (if you want, I never could, skin was too sensitive), cutting back on your oily foods (and it has been discovered that 1% or 2% milk is food), and getting 6-8 glasses of water daily will help keep your skin healthy and lessen the pimples.
One more things: Don't try to pick them. I can't convince my daughter not to, maybe I can convince you not to. [ Shelbyjune's advice column | Ask Shelbyjune A Question ]
KaTiE_LyNn answered Tuesday January 11 2005, 10:56 pm: clearasil cream works for me. but one thing you should try.. dont always use the same thing to wash your face. if you do, your skin will stop reacting to it and it wont fight off the pimples. proactiv also works really well.
