That could cause a little more pooping. I would take him/her to the vet also the dog could be sick you never know. If its a puppy and hes not poddy trained yet just simply tell him no and put him outside soon the dog will learn not to go in the house. Lol if the poop is like really runny i would really take it to the vet. It could be some kind of infection in those areas. Then you would get medicine that you would have to feed it in its mouth for about a week.

tigrennatenn answered Wednesday January 5 2005, 8:33 pm: I'm not a vet, but there's definitely something wrong, even if your dog is still just a puppy. I'd recommend calling your vet and checking out what food you're feeding him, especially if it's a grocery brand. Search Google for information on dog food ingredients if you're not sure - and always read the ingredients on the food. It might even be due to stress - has it been nust in the house lately?
And if your dog is having diarrhea, maybe you should put him outside a little more so that you don't have to clean up so much. [ tigrennatenn's advice column | Ask tigrennatenn A Question ]

twynelyne answered Tuesday January 4 2005, 1:25 am: it depends on the dogs age, and no it doesn't sound good. either there some intestinal problems or the dog ate something no so good for itself. if its an older dog then definitely go to the vet (could be time to say good bye) but if not really old at all then its what i said b4. if its persists much longer take it to the vet! is the dog still eating right?
please rate thanks [ twynelyne's advice column | Ask twynelyne A Question ]
selectopaque answered Tuesday January 4 2005, 12:07 am: You should consult with a Veterinarian.
If you simpy call one then they may be able to give you some advice for what to do. If not, then you might need to bring your dog in to see them, but they might be able to give you a cheap medicine for him.
Diarhea for longer than three days is not normal in any dog. Diarhea in a geriatric (older than 6 years) is not normal. And Diarhea in a puppy, younger than 1 year is not normal and could be caused by something much more serious.
It could also be a change in diet. Have you changed your dog's diet lately?
You also might just need to train him better. Take him out every couple hours and praise him excessively every time he goes outside.
