Brunette27 answered Friday December 31 2004, 12:01 pm: Tell him you already hav a bf and that you are just not interested in him right now. Tell him that you just want to be friends. If you really don't want him to like you make sure you NEVER flirt with him.

Alin75 answered Friday December 31 2004, 7:50 am: Ok, Im going to be honest with you here, the friendship will not work. I have tried this personally and I have seen it with others. When a guy really loves a girl he cannot just be her friend (at least not for long). He will be jealous of your bf, and though he will think he likes to be around you it wont be good for him. If he hangs around you a lot, as a friend, he wont be able to get over you, so the love feeling remains. This will make him miserable, and probably make you feel wierd. I know its not the answer you wanted but, in my opinion, make a clean break from your friendship until after you are sure he is over you. You can even explain this to him. He might be a bit hurt but beleive me its far more painful for him to be really close to the girl he loves, to see her with her bf, and not be able to do anything about it. PleaseHelpMe answered Friday December 31 2004, 4:53 am: Tell him your flattered but you don't want to have a more love type relationship with him, and that you just want to be friends. Something like that. Be straight forward with him. [ PleaseHelpMe's advice column | Ask PleaseHelpMe A Question ]
xSammieXlubsXux answered Friday December 31 2004, 4:50 am: Just be straight up forward with him about how you feel about all of this...if he really cares for you this much then i think he'll understand.
