Talking Problem
well me and my boyfriend have been together 9 months now and everything is great i guess we hang out alot and everything and the first 4 months of our relationship we just talked on the phone alot and hung out a little now we hang out more and were talking on the phoen the same but its kinda like everytime we get on the phone we sit and listen to eachother breath!!! he complains about it alot but i just cant think of anything to talk to him about! i mean i love him alot and i dont want things to end but is this soposto be telling me somthing? do you have anything to tell me? talk topics? anything?

hey. maybe the phone is just not the greatest way for you guys to communicate, maybe its intimidating you guys, so then you just run out of things to say. maybe you guys should talk about good times you had with your friends, about how your day went, about stuff that you guys havent covered yet. sports, music, theres a lot to say there. ask him his opinion about random stuff, open up to him and say what you feel. he will too. just talk about childhood memories, or any broken bones, or funny or embarassing stuff that has ever happened you and ask him if he has any. once you do that, stuff will start to come and you wont have to think about what tos ay anymore. you'll just find something. peace and love!

i have this same problem with my boyfriend. if he is getting mad about it then talk to him and tell him that you are out of things to talk about and have him try and think of something. or just tell him you have to get off of the phone and talk to him later. hope i helped/

okay my boyfriend and me talk on the phone for like 3 hours...we talk about realllllly random stuff....like whats on tv, what we did that day, what were doing tomrrow, siblings, umm pets, school, music...ANYTHING....new movies coming out...just say..."oh ya i wanna see that new movie coming out" or something....and then ask him if he wants to go and make plans, umm talk about how much you love him or your guys inside jokes, or how you met....JUST ANYTIHNG!!

No, it's not trying to tell you anything. I used to do the same thing with my boyfriend. We would "talk" on the phone for hours, but really we'd just sit there while one is watching t.v. and the other has a friend over or something. Sometimes it got really boring and annoying, but I think it was kinda like being in each other's presence when we couldn't be. But if your boyfriend is complaining so much about it then tell him either he needs to think of something to say or get off the phone with you, tell him because you don't want to be pissing him off, just say "sorry, but I like feeling like you're right there with me, it doesn't bother me that we don't say much. But if it bothers you, honey, then just only call me when you have something to say I guess." Something like that, but yeah, if it bothers him, then you need to hang up with him so he can still get those feelings of looking forward to talking to you on the phone, and not dreading it. in most relationships there are times when the couple is talking on the phone to eachother and then everything gets quite and no one knows what to say, that doesnt mean yall are getting bored with eachother you just dont really know what to talk about anymore, so maybe this will help, try talking about eachothers day and whats going to happen for the comeing up weekend, and hows school, and hows the life at home, i mean theres millions of things you can talk about, like animals, whats your fav animal or something like that, try what i have came up with and maybe the next time yall are on the phone with eachother it wont be so quite! Well you can talk about TV, Skool, Movies, Video games, whatever ya'll have in common! If it still doesn't help then you could call him on three-way with a friend :)

omg me and my boyfriend are the same exact way!! he gets mad at me and trys to get off the phone to find something better to do than listen to me breathing! na when your boyfriend doesn't want to talk on the phone because your not talking doesn't mean a thing, he still cares about you but he wants to talk about something interesting. tell him about your day, about your friends, anything interesting, ask him questions too! talk about somethings that he likes too. but everything is perfect still. x0

whenever i talk on the phone, i always have a list of what to talk about right in front of me. -_- weird i know but at least it gives me something to talk about.

I dont know what you could talk about, but maybe you shouldnt call him as much anymore, and instead of talking on the phone so much, go out more so you have stuff to laugh at and talk about.

this might sound a little corny, but why don't you, before you call him, think up of some conversation starters. like what did you do today? what are you doing this weekend. stuff like that. it's really easy. it's normal to have nothing to say after a while. but try to keep the talking going.
