Its very unlikely that its the perm. I would skip the salon and head straight to the doctor, make SURE nothing is wrong with you. Changes in diet, stress and certain medications (including birth control) can make you lose your hair, so be leary of anything you have done that was a significant change. Zinc is an excellent supplement for hair loss, but its really hard on the stomach. Start taking a big multivitamin and schedule an appointment for the doctor. He can suggest natural supplements to impede the problem, or possibly find out whats wrong. I had a medication that made my hair fall out, and I did start taking Rogaine, which was helpful, but the instructions on the bottle specifically say NOT to take the product if you don't know the reason for your hair loss, hence the doctor. Try not to stress about the problem until you see the doctor as well, "worrying is like a rocking chair, it gives you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere". The stress is just going to make the problem escalate. Good luck, I know how crappy this problem is.

I think you need to talk to someone about that because its not normal...Are you possibly stressed because maybe that could be the factor

OMG! It might be because you keep perming it. Try not doing that for a WHILE. In the meantime, try Rogaine. I'm not sure if teenagers can use it, too. I just saw it on TV, and it said it's for woman, so I think you can use it. I'm sorry, good luck!
Hope I helped!

OK look at the number of products you use on your hair and call the hotline if they have one ASAP and call your local salon or in this case maybe our doctor. It might be a health problem.. I dont know honey but good luck!!

Thats not good. I suggest that you stop perming your hair for a little bit, because the perm weakens the hair folicles. Is your hair getting thinner? That also tends to happen when you perm it alot. Also, you should go to the beauty salon and get your hair done by a professional, if you don't already do it. Go to the beauty supply place and get an anti-breakage formula, I can't remeber the name of it ( sorry that doesn't help) but all I can really advise is stop using less chemicals and heat to your hair, because that breaks it off even more. I did that for about 2 yrs and my hair grew ALOT! If I find out anything else, I'll let you know.

sometimes hair just does fall out, if its falling out in clumps a lot, then you should go to a salon, and not take advice from strangers, because they dont know your hair, but if i were you, i would just go straight to a salon, fast, but if it isnt that big of a deal, then just use a thickening shampoo, Pantene or something. Dont freak out, you'll probably be ok. Hope i helped -Angel
