I don't know why, but my stomach always hurts. It hurts at LEAST once a week. And it's not cramps, it's just like a stomach ache. But I get them all the time! I hate it, and I don't know what to do. The other day I got one in school and I had to go to my next class and I was afraid I'd get sick. I mean, I never do, but it feels like it. Does anybody know what this is, and what I can do?

This is a serious question, so please don't joke about it. I know it's long..but if you read it, I'll really appreciate a decent answer. My friend and are both 13 and female. Yesterday at lunch my friend wasn't eating. She usually doesn't eat lunch, but I hadn't really caught on until now. I asked her why she wasn't eating and just said "I don't know". I asked her when she had last eaten a full meal and she said it was about a week ago! Only a couple of her close friends know this, but I was the most recent one to find out. Why aren't her friends doing anything about it? I've been thinking about it all yesterday and today. I had a long chat with her online last night about it and she answered some questions that I asked. One: I asked her (again) why she hadn't eaten in the last week. She told me it was a way to relieve "stress". She also said she thought of doing this, since it is better than cutting herself. Her parents are divorced so she says to one parent that she eats at the other house and vice-versa. Basically our whole lunch table knows this about her, so one of my friends buys her a snack everyday. We try to make her eat it, but she just turns her head and shuts her mouth. She said that she won't let it go that far. I told her that this is going to become a bad habit for her and she needs to start going back to her regular eating before it gets worse. I never would have expected this to happen to her. She's not fat (and she doesn't think she's fat either), she's NEVER sad (always happy and hyper), I just don't know. I know I have to tell someone about this. But I didn't think I would ever be in a situation like this. It scares me. She told me not to tell her parents or anyone else. I want to tell so badly..but at the same time, I just want to let it go! If I tell, I'm so scared I will lose her as a friend. I need someone to help my friend and me. Please.
Tell an adult shes not eating that can turn into a very serious problem...she could end up having to go to rehab if she becomes annorexic too bad. And just because shes happy and hyper on the outside doesn't mean thats how she feels on the inside.

There's this kid in one of my classes who's obsessed with me. I have never talked to him before this all happenened. He got my screen name from one of my friends, and he's always talking to me. He says he likes me alot, and the truth is, I dont know him and I don't like him. I just want him to leave me alone. Everytime he comes on, I put an away message up, but he still talks to me! I have sort of a...strange question I guess: What exactly are a girl's hips made of, and is there a way to get rid of them once they develop? I mean I know that during puberty, you start getting hips, but I really don't like mine.
And also, I don't like the fact that my thighs touch when I walk or just stand with my legs parallel to each other. What can I do about this?

I just heard through my friend that our friend ran away this afternoon. My friend heard about his running away through his boyfriend who he called before he ran away. His boyfriend said that he is at his father's apartment which we had previously thought was in California but the number on his boyfriend's caller ID was local.
The simple thing to do would be to have his boyfriend call the number on the caller ID but the father has on occasion beaten the both of them for being gay. So it's probably not a safe idea.
Both my friend and I are terribly consumed with worry about our friend. See, he is manic depressive and has ADHD which he takes many many medications for. We're pretty sure (along with his boyfriend) that he wouldn't have remembered to take his meds along with him, it's just not something he'd think about. Everything is the cello with him. Once, he came to school not having taken them and he was uncontrollable. Around noon he wanted to "whisk me away to an ethnic market for couscous". I'm really worried.
I don't actually know what I'm asking for, but I feel helpless in all of this.

Hey, it's Siren here...my best bud and I have known each other for 13 years. We're both seniors in high school. All of a sudden, this year, I feel like we just...split. I can't talk to her about the important things in my life the way I can talk to my other friends. Like, a couple of my friends from band and I - well, I guess - bonded one night and I feel like I can talk to them more than I can talk to her, and I've only known them for 2 years. I can talk to them about things like french kissing with pop rocks (just an example, lol) and if I tried to talk to her about it, she'd just go "oh...um, okay," and change the subject or something. She's always been a little less mature than me, I suppose, even if she is a year older than me. But it's never bothered me until now. I want to be able to talk to her about these kinds of things, but I can't, and it's bothering me. Because of it, we're pretty much splitting. It really sucks because we used to be like sisters. She used to know all my secrets. Now only one person does, and it's not her. I wish it was, though. I mean, I miss being able to talk to her about anything. Help if you can?
