I have sort of a...strange question I guess: What exactly are a girl's hips made of, and is there a way to get rid of them once they develop? I mean I know that during puberty, you start getting hips, but I really don't like mine.
And also, I don't like the fact that my thighs touch when I walk or just stand with my legs parallel to each other. What can I do about this?

ps I know a ton of tips on weight loss if that's what you need. Ask me, dancindanger a question about it and I'll tell you everything I know-I lost 1 1/2 pounds in 3 days from my diet and exercise "plan". But the only way I can help is if you ask me a question about it. [ dancindanger's advice column | Ask dancindanger A Question ]
Shortie8959 answered Tuesday December 21 2004, 8:50 pm: I don't think there's anything you can do about your hips, sorry. It's because of bone. And your thighs, there's probably some good exercises out there that can help thin them out. I'm sorry, I can't think of any right off the bat, but maybe try searching Google? Good luck!
Hope I helped!

And as for the legs widening thing, as your hips widen, they push your leg bones angling in towards eachother, which is why your thighs touch. You can't do much to make that any better too, really all you can do is hope you get taller or lose a bit of weight down by your legs, if you can even do that.
