constantly use a wet towel. Always have one ready on the sidelines, it works like a charm!

Well, their is really no way of preventing your face from getting red. Its just because of the sun's rays. Like if you do play volleyball and/or basketball out in the sun, then what I reccomend doing is putting on sunscreen an hour before playing sports.

im sorry hunny there is no way to get rid of the red.
when the blood surfaces to your skin, thats the red complexion, to get rid of that you'd have to get rid of blood!

try cooling ur face right after with lots of cool water and slow ur heart rate down

Daisy answered Tuesday December 14 2004, 7:10 pm:
Try drinking lots of water. You should drink 1.5-2 litres of water a day to stop the body from being dehydrated and you will therefore need to drink more if you are doing sport. Your face is going bright redd cos you are overheating so drinking water, especially really cold water, will help cool you down.

Shaylee answered Monday December 13 2004, 8:03 am:
Sadly no :(

I have the exact same problem except my face fully goes as red as a tomato so much that people think I'm dying or something- not good.

On the other side you will know you have no toxins in your blood or clogged up as they have had nice blood pumping through them ... *sigh, it was worth a shot.

Well the only thing I can tell you is that its good for you, keeps that circulation going around your body- which in turn keeps those body parts alive. Take a shower and relax a bit, usually that tones down the redness a bit and make sure you cool down afterwards. Take time to get changed before you go out to the public- when you cool down it will go away, so take your time in cooling down- then by the time you get out hopefully you will just have a nice healthy glow on your cheeks.

Tinkerbelle answered Sunday December 12 2004, 6:39 pm:
You can't really do anything, everyone's face gets red after they work out hard. All you can do is drink a lot of water and try to stay cool, and that's about it. Unless you don't work as hard while playing those sports, but why bother doing that? It goes away after a while, so just deal with it.

Well try not to run or play that much! Try putting a face cloth or paper towel in cold water and then put it over your face and that will help! Try drinking more water too! Hope I helped :)

xluvinux answered Sunday December 12 2004, 3:18 pm:
Well when you have water drinks try bringing a water bottle with ice cold water. There's not really much you can do about it. It's just a normal thing. You could try heading to the bathroom. Take a paper towel and dip it into cold water, then put it over your face. Sweating and having a red face just means you were working hard, so you shouldn't worry about it too much. =)
