Hey everybody! I am kinda deppressed. I cant figure out what i'm good at. I used to skateboard and that was my life. It is what made me happy. But i got really bad at it and only get mad when i do it now. So i cant do that anymore. I like to make rap lyrics but also suck at that. Those were the only two things that made me truely happy, and i cant do either one of them. So i realized that there is nothing i am good at. And if thats the case, what is my point in living? And how can i figure out what i'm good at? Ive tried so many things like different sports, activities, just all sorts of things and i cant seem to be good at anything. Please help. Thank you all.

Shortie8959 answered Monday December 20 2004, 7:38 pm: I suck at a lot of things too, but that's no reason to kill yourself over. I know you've tried lots of things, but have you tried piano? Or the guitar? I tried piano 2 years ago, and that's what I'm good at. I'm on level 5 (that's the highest level) and I've only been at it for 2 years! So don't worry if you can't find something right away, just keep looking! Everyone's good at something. My brother is 22, and still doesn't know what he wants to do for a living. You'll find out what that thing is eventually, trust me. I know you're good at something. Don't kill yourself over this. Good luck!
Hope I helped!

Magenta answered Monday December 20 2004, 4:08 pm: Life has no point. If you anaylse it all, there is no point to living. The trick is to find something that keeps you wanting to go on. Don't search for meaning or purpose, search for something, anything, that keeps you going. [ Magenta's advice column | Ask Magenta A Question ]

dancinqueen08 answered Monday December 20 2004, 3:13 pm: You could still be good at skateboarding and rap lyrics, but you don't practice enough. If that really doesn't make you happy, then just keep trying other sports and activities. You won't know what you are good at until you try EVERYTHING possible. AsKmE135 answered Monday December 20 2004, 3:03 pm: I was like that for a while too. I did gymnastics for a few years and I loved it but never got anywhere with it. I also tried tennis and track, but I gave up on both of them. But then I started a new sport (taekwondo) about 6 months ago and I found out that I'm actually pretty good at it and I really love it. It's great because you're always trying to reach a new goal. But a few years ago, I NEVER would have thought I would be doing taekwondo! It never even crossed my mind. So my point is, sooner or later you will find your passion, even if it's something unexpected. So don't give up and keep searching for that passion! ;-) [ AsKmE135's advice column | Ask AsKmE135 A Question ]
speedyturtle123 answered Monday December 20 2004, 2:04 pm: Well, in a couple of days, try what you used to like doing. Maybe you'll remember what fun it was and do it again, and again, until you get REALLY good at it. Or, keep looking for things that you might be good at. Hope I helped! :)

charmed-cherry21 answered Monday December 20 2004, 10:58 am: This isn't to tell you what you are good at but to help you with skateboarding and making rap lyrics. <b><i>"<u>If at first you don't suceed, lift yourself up and try again</u>"</i></b> Also try taking lessons on them it might help but mainly listen to the quote.
