i want to lose 10 lbs

i want to lose 10 lbs in 3 months cuz on my bday i am geting money adn i want to buy clothes but i want to look cute in them i am 118 and i waer size 5 but i am not satisified.oh i am short i am like 5'3 ish.. My question for you is this: A) is that unrealistic? B) anyideas on how i could do that?

well i think you dont need to lose weight. i think you are ok. do you have like a gut? if so maybe you could lose some weight. like i am 91 lbs, and 5" or 5.1" you know i have a little bit of a bump. but not bad you know you dont weigh that much for your highth. i think you are ok but if you feel like you want to go ahead just dont lose too much and be safe! good luck and happy birthday!!!!

10 lbs.. in 3 monthes?.. you could lose 30 if you really wanted to.. crunches and lunges all the way.. walking.. NOT running.. itll just gain muscle.. which'll add more weight..

You're already at the perfect weight, you don't need to lose any!! So yes, it is very unrealistic and possibly dangerous if you try to lose any. I honestly wouldn't try it, but if you really have to, all you have to do is exercise 30 or so minutes a day, three times a week, like jogging. Then just eat healthy, skip the sodas and nachos, and you'll be fine. Maybe you could just tone up a bit instead of losing 10 pounds.

first off you dont have to be a size zero to be perfect... be happy with your seld but i think if you truly work on it every day you can reach your goal...i mean ten pounds is not that hard...you should like run a mile every day and do puch ups and sit ups and maybe if you keep it up you can lose even more...

diet and exercise....i know it sounds cheasy but it does work...no junk food...at all and eat salads alot and drink lots of water(that was the answer for b) (a) it is not unrealistic...however if you get to be under like 105 lbs then i would be worried about anerexia

well, for your height losing 10 pounds would be too much. Five is a healthier goal. Start by cutting out soda and drinking more water, they say you should have 8 glasses a day but start with 5 or 6 and it'll come. Walk around your neigborhood/street for 20-30 min everyday. Weightlifting helps you slim down a lot too. But if you start lifting only do it for a certain time, because after a while you'll get bulky muscles and i'm not sure if that's the look your going for....and if you wanna look really cute in your clothes start doing crunches....your clothes will look better if you don't have a tummy :o) hope i helped! Hun that is unrealistic. You are the perfect size for your height. I'm a size seven normally but I am pregnant and when I weighed in normal I was 125. And I am 5' 6". If you loose anymore weight you can make yourself really sick. I've been through it and had a couple of weeks of bedrest to get better. Be careful, you are a perfect size.

hunny your already skinny. trust me hun..you shouldnt want to lose 10 pounds. 118 to 108 isnt great..trust me..youll get weak and like faint. you dont need to lose weight. i bet you look great the way you are. you need to accept for what and who you are. hope i helped! mauhh

Yes, it is realistic.

3 months = 12 weeks

By healthily losing a pound a week, you can get there (and maybe 2 extra ;]). Stick to the 2000-calories-a-day plan, eating a variety of healthy foods. I'm sure you're aware of the food pyramid.

Also, exercise some more. Now, I don't mean run 10 miles and do 500 push-ups and sit-ups daily. Just walk around your neighborhood a couple times a week or do yoga. It doesn't have to be strenuous.

totally realistic. Do a 5 meal diet. Not actually 5 meals, but breakfast, lunch, snack when you get home from school, dinner, and snack. Don't eat more than that. Unless your snack is a granola bar or something, then you can have an apple or banana. Try eating healthier, or smaller portions. I think you are a fine weight. But 10 pounds in three months is pretty realistic. You can go running, jogging, or walking from anywhere to 10 minutes (running & Jogging) or 30 minutes (walking) But when you excercise, make sure you have at least one bottle of water, just so you're hydrated. Soda, or any other caffiene drink will only dehydrate you. Good Luck putting off, and keeping off the wieght. Happy very early birthday. <3 K a t e <3

hey hun!!! i rlly dont think u need 2 lose weight cuz i weigh 115 n im 5'4 but if u rlly wanna try doing like 50-100 sit-ups b4 u go 2 bed or when u wake up it tones ur body n makes ur stomach look thinner... thats wat i do

hey hunny!* ya know.. i understand ur situation about not bein 'satisfied,' b/c ive been there, and felt that way! but the first thing to lo0sing weight, is KNOWING urself. you have to want to lo0se weight for you.. not for ne body else. :). 118 pounds isnt big. but i understand what u mean.. i weigh 100, im 5'2, and sumtimes i think im fat! but neways... ill give u some advice..

A) that IS realistic! this is gonna sounds 'cheesy' but you can do NETHING you set your mind to! ;)

B) heres how to lo0se weight: you can workout.. at first you might seem to gain weight. but really, its just the excess skin turning into firm muscle. and if that doesnt suit ya.. you could always eat healthy, and RUN!! running is a GREAT source of excersize! and it may not sound fun.. but i promise.. its enjoyable!!

Nah... it's realistic. If your in not in high school or eighth grade, I really wouldn't stress it much but... all I can say is go to a community gym every day. Even if you only do a little bit at a time, it can help. Try running... that will help. Eat breakfast, dinner, and lunch, but small portions. Don't eat sweets. Try not to eat too much fatty foods or extreme carbs. If nothing else works you can fast for a couple days, but no more than that. Don't resort to bulimia or anorexia... and don't stress over it. You are actually average weight for that height. Good luck and I hope you lose the weight!

1. no soda .... lots and lots of water
2. try walking like 30 minutes evryday
3. dont eat junk food
and 14. chew ur food like alot of times bcz it helps them digest faster

How old are you? 118 pounds isn't a lot, it might just be muscle. I gues syou could but if you're in ur teens don't worry about it so much. Don't eat the sweets and other junkfood. Hope i helped!

hey! you would look to thin if you lost 10 pounds. maybe lose like 5 or something i dont know. well, if you do wanna lose ten pounds in three months, you're guna have to exercize and watch what you eat. exercize atleast once a day. a good exercise to lose weight fast is running and always just jumping around and never stop moving. dont that for a while like 30-60 minutes depending on how much you're able to exercize and how much time you have on your hands. also, if you have time, try to so some exercises where you tend to gain the pounds. for example if its your stomach then do crunches in addition. for your diet, try not to eat snacks, and if you have to, then try to eat healthy snacks like fruits or yogurt or something like that. dont stop eating fatty foods, your body needs them, but eat a little bit of everything. eat fruits and veggies, meats and fish and pasta from time to time. try not to drink soda except from time to time, like on week-ends only or something like that. if you follow this, then you will lose the extra pounds. but once you lost them, if you wanna stay the way you are, keep on exercizing and still watch what you eat. maybe not as much as before so that you dont keep losing weight, just so that you stay the way you are. hope this helps, but dont over do it! peace and love!

for one, you sound already skinny...so i wouldnt worry about loosing too much weight....but try ther atkins diet if you want to shed some pounds faster...just have a healthy diet and excercise and im sure you will be able to look cute in your new birthday clothes!
