I'm not a psychologist but it definetly sounds like you have trichotillomania (trick-oh-till-oh-may-nee-ah). It's an impulse control disorder characterized by recurrent urges to pull out hair resulting in noticible bald patches. Take advice from someone who suffers from this disorder (ie. me) tell someone because it's really, really hard to stop on your own. For more information go to www.trich.org Good luck with everything =)

Haha it must hurt. Try not pulling ur hair out and see how it goes. Or buy a wig and pull those hairs out.

Try carrying around one of those stress balls, they work wonders. And they are fun to play with during class when you are bored, lol. Hope i helped :-)

Moop answered Saturday November 6 2004, 8:39 pm:
this is refered to as trichotillomania. I had it as a very young child. Counseling and stress therapy helped me lose it, but every once in a while I regress. It's tough to beat and you will need help. Tell your parents or your doctor.

were learning about this in health. Try putting your anger and stress into something else like screaming into a pillow, stress ball, or dancing it sounds silly but it works!

hope i helped!

2 words. Stress ball. Well, more than two words. I love stress balls. I used to cut, and I'm trying to stop now. I talk to my fave teacher about it, and she helps. But all you're doing is pulling out hair, not as bad. Before you get upset, or as you start to get upset, put a ponytail holder on your wrist, or a rubberband, and when you are angry, pull it. The more angry/bored/stressed you are, the higher you pull it. Or the stress ball. Those squishy balls that are fun to squeeze, especially when you are stressed. I'm glad you don't cut. It's a bad option, and you should never do it. But hair pulling can be bad, it would really suck if you pulled out all your hair.(haha, I don't think that's possible.) Just think of the kids with lukeimia( I don't know how to spell it) I say that because, they don't have hair to pull. (I hope you know I'm kidding... unless for some odd reason that helpes, then I find you a strange strange person hahaha)
