You could also put V-8 in there it will tone down the spicyness of the salsa and add a great veggie flavor

bigger chips, less salsa, blend it with a milder salsa. just deal with it because it's just one jar? I know! Invite all your friends over and tell them it's mild.

If you have any fresh or canned tomatoes in the house you could always dice them up and add it to a really spicy salsa to take the kick out of it. If you don't have extra tomatoes lying about the house you could always have a cold glass of milk handy and take a sip after each bite, drinking water will only make it hotter where milk will cut the burn.

You should ask for mild next time but until then you should put less sauce on the chip. That is what i do because i am not a big spicy person either. Hope that i helped. Ask me if you need more advice.
