xo_dream answered Sunday October 10 2004, 3:53 pm: You NEED to see a doctor about it. They're the only ones who can tell you the severity of it and if anything else could have happened [[ things can tear & whatnot ]]. Since you got a concussion too, you're going to need to have that checked out. If you dislocated your shoulder // got a concussion, you're going to miss a game no matter what, so just go to the doctor. [ xo_dream's advice column | Ask xo_dream A Question ]
Blondie04 answered Saturday October 2 2004, 3:27 pm: I've pulled my shoulder out three times and pulled a muscle in it once. Mine only took a couple of weeks to where I could use it more fully. It will still hurt for a while after that. Don't start back too rough on it once you can start using it again. It takes a while for things like that to heal. I know how you feel sports wise because I ran crosscountry and played basketball and ran track in high school. That's how I pulled mine out so often. Once I pulled it out the first time, it must not have healed back completely or went completley back in because of how many times it came out after that. It didn't happen right after another. I pulled it out once my freshman year, junior year, and senior year. I pulled the muscle in it my sophomore year. Good luck and take care of it!! I'm praying for you! ~*Annie*~ answered Saturday October 2 2004, 1:45 pm: Put an Icy Hot Patch on it to make the soreness feel better. Ice your shoulder a lot, and play again about a week after your doctor proclaims it healed. You don't want to take any risks of getting an even more severe shoulder injury. Also, eat healthy and drink 2-3 glasses of milk per day. My guess is that you can play in about 1-2 months after your injury. Feel better soon :) [ ~*Annie*~'s advice column | Ask ~*Annie*~ A Question ]

MFS answered Friday October 1 2004, 5:07 pm: Umm... you're discussing real injuries here... the people here are not doctors. Talk to a physician or lisenced sports medicine practicioner. Getting ill-advised and uneducated responses from here could likely lead to you worsening your injuries. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
charmed-cherry21 answered Friday October 1 2004, 4:59 pm: Well in the show I watch "One Tree Hill" Lucas ((chad michael murray)) has to have his spline removed because of a car accident and it took him about a month to be able to play basketball again so I think that it should take at least a week or two before you can play football again. Depending on coaches, parents, and doctors.

Draak answered Friday October 1 2004, 4:54 pm: I hope you are seeing a doctor for your injury, being that even though you might have popped your shoulder back in you might have tissue damage that needs to be treated. Seeing as you have a concussion on top of that, a doctor is a must.
If everything turns out okay and you don't have any permanent damage, I would say a couple weeks of rest should do you good. But you should really go see a doctor and listen to them about it.
