Usually people say then when they do like you and they don't want to tell you, or they don't like you and they don't want you to be hurt. Or maybe they just don't know.

Guys are so confusing. Sometimes, they really don't know if they like you or not, or they're too afraid to tell you they do like you, or they're too afraid to say they don't like you because they're afraid of hurting your feelings. If you ask him again, just be like "I just want to know if you like me or not, if you don't then it's fine, just tell me right now.." Just say something like that so he can give you a straight answer and you don't have to bug him again. I hope this helps and if you need anymore help, just post a message in my inbox.

haha all girls hate it when boys respond "i dunno" or "um {shrugs}"... it's just that they are too unmature to say either yes or no. most times when they say "i dunno" it means they probably dont like you that way, but that doesnt mean he doesnt like you- he could just be saying i dunno because he's too shy to say "yes i do"... we'll never understand what's going through those boys heads will we? sigh... oh well =] -ask_anything

No. When women ask a guy out, the majority of the time they say yes. Guys fall under pressure (especially from women). What "I dunno" means is that he doesn't want to hurt your feelings but he isn't ready for a relationship with you right now.
