LilMia811 answered Saturday September 18 2004, 6:12 pm: Since your 13, its very normal that your breast are hurting. You're right it can mean you are about to get your period. It can also mean that they are developing or growing. [ LilMia811's advice column | Ask LilMia811 A Question ]
Siren_Cytherea answered Saturday September 18 2004, 6:03 pm: It could mean you are going to start your period, yes.
It could also mean your breasts are growing. It's perfectly normal. Your breasts may hurt before your period all the time, once you start. It's a typical PMS thing, so don't worry about it.
Hope this helped!

FrEe2bMe answered Saturday September 18 2004, 5:55 pm: Hey there. Well don't worry this isn't weird or anything. You are actually correct, often times people breast hurt or are sore when touched right before their period is about to come ( and not just for the first time) this can happen every month. It's usually an indication that your period is about to come within the next week. Also, your breasts may be growing as a result of puberty. To appease your pain if you really can't take it make sure you dont sleep on your tummy (laying on your breasts) and take osme kind of pain releiver before you go to bed to knock the pain off at the pass. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
HollyAnn2282 answered Saturday September 18 2004, 5:53 pm: Yeah I'm sure its the period... mine always seem to hurt around that time... Or they might just be a little sore because maybe in pe class you were doing some kind of exercise that worked those muscles in there... Or.. they might just be growing. but its normal!

MaxwellsSilverHammer answered Saturday September 18 2004, 5:47 pm: Good, because when a man has his period, it's very different.
When you reach a certain stage of puberty and your breasts are growing, they can hurt from time to time.
It may not be because they are growing, rather that it is your first period soon, some women's breasts hurt before their period.
Karen answered Saturday September 18 2004, 5:40 pm: Hey, don't worry, it just means that your breasts are starting to grow. You're starting to go through puberty. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
