friends or not friends?
okay well i have 3 best friends one is emily i've had for 3 years and the other two brittany and meghyn and i spent the night with meghyn and brittany this weekend, and emily is always like your ditching me.. sometimes i feel like i have more fun with brittany and meghyn then emily well see meghyn and brittany are popular and brittany is in my class so we hang out alot.. so hanging out with them makes me popular but emily is not so popular... what do i do about it? me and emily are good friends but sometimes it gets annoying we have been best friends for 3 years.. what do i do? mods please dont delete i really need help.

If you don't like the girl don't hang out with her!She can find new friends, i mean you did.If you sttill like her and all tell her that it is getting annoying that hse always says "your ditching me" and that u still wantt to be her friend and all but if she could stop being a little bit annoying, or say something like that.

i Think yoU should hang out w. all of them @ the same time but if they arent really friends then still hang out w. emily. It shouldnt matter if someone is popular or not to hang out w. them so I dont thINk you shOUld Stop Being Friends w. emily cuz i mean she has been your best friend for 3 years and everything! jUSt be Friends w. them all!

Ok, well i had the same situation and what i did was start hanging out with for example in your case the emily and strted hanging out with brittany and meghyn more because i just didnt't enjoy being with the emily as much. When she would tell me i was ditching her and asked me if we were still best friends i would answer her with the truth. I didn't start hanging out with the other two to be popular or anything it's just that i started changing and had a different taste in friends. There's nothng wrong with changing. Emily will probably have different taste in friends later on too. So just tell her the truth. She might take it a little hard and decide not to hang out with you anymore or she might still be friends with you but not be BEST BEST friends. Which will be sorta better for you since you enjoy chilling with Brittany and Meghynn more.

its okay that you hang out with your 2 other friends , but you shouldnt do that jus cause the fact that their popular. thats a little thing people call "using" explain to emily that they are in your class and you jus are happening to get to know them better ! or maybe you should all 4 try to hang out sometime and maybe your other friends will like emily too. its nice to have new friends but always remember to keep your old ones ;]

I know emily doesnt fit in with your other two friends but sometimes try adn niclude her in the things you do and then other times just hang out with them at least this way your showing her that you like her and all but sometimes you just gotta hang out with them.And let her know your not ditching her just sometimes you just need to hang out with them.Hope i helped.

there is nothing wrong than wanting to have more than one best friend. Its healthier. You need to tellyour friend that she shouldnt be selfish. You, on the other hand, shouldnt hang out with ppl just because they might make you popular doesnt mean that you should leave a friend behind!

You have to talk to Emily. Just tell her that you wanna hang out with other people sometimes. You aren't ditching her or anything but you do need some space without her sometimes. Emily has to get the point where she can't be hanging around you all the time. You guys can still be best friends but I mean, you do need to hang out with other people. Just because you are more popular then Emily, it doesn't mean that you aren't friends with her. Hope I helped and good luck :)
