Obnoxious friend
i have this one friend of mine who whenever other people are around, especially guys, she gets really obnoxious. She become loud and annoying trying to be the center of attention. She put on her annoying girly act, and its just frustrating because she never acts this way when its just me. How can i show her obnoxious she's being without her screaming at me?

If you think she's likely to overreact about you confronting her directly (e.g. "You know, you're really very different around guys") then you could try starting a conversation on the topic where she ends up talking about it and therefore thinking about it for herself. You could ask her what she thinks guys like in general, or what they like in her. If she says something about her bubbly, confident personality, you could then use this as a way in to discuss what annoys you about the way she behaves. Tell her you wonder if sometimes being loud is overwhelming for guys, and that your real personality is probably even more attractive. Hopefully this will make her think about her behaviour around guys without her feeling like she's being accused of something (which will make her defensive). Good luck!

you should sit her down when your alone and tell her that she needs to be herself whenever shes around other ppl, tell her ppl would like her more if she was just herself, but be sure not to sound mean.

ask her why she acts so different when you 2 are around other people then she does when you 2 are just hanging out with each other.

pretend that u overheard acouple guys say that she was hella annoying and fake and loud...n be like yeah i told them to shuttup, but then it got me thinking and u act TOTALLY not urself when u are around guyz..get into it that way...

Dude, that's just how one of my friends are. It pisses me off. I say, right when you guys are hanging out with boys or whatever, ask her - - "(Name), Why are you being really loud and obnoxious today? You never act like this when it's just me and you, only when we're around boys." That'll piss her off but why would you be afraid of her screaming at you anyways?

The only way you can show her how obnoxious she is without her screaming at you is by showing her proof lol. Umm, if you have some kind of recorder on your cell phone, record her while she is hanging around with other people with you. When you get a chance to be alone with her, play the recorder. If she's really your friend, she will stop. Actually, she might not even know that she is doing this. Hope I helped :)

Get a tape recorder and carry it with you when you are around these guys, and tape record her actions. When you are alone with her, play the tape back for her. I don't know what kind of personality this girl has, but I hope she doesn't get extremely mad. Maybe she doesn't realize she's going this.
