I'm a student that needs the time to figure school work out... and take my time on stuff... but between HorseBack Ridin, School Work, My Babysitting Jobs, and an Athletic Trainer after school.. well I just don't know how to balance it.. any advice?
o0Tina0o answered Wednesday August 25 2004, 2:33 pm: Just cut back on less on stuff..
like horseback ridin.. how about you do a little less on that so u can have more time to study... and the Athletic Trainer instead of everyday after school.. how about u try 2 change the times to like 3-4 times a week?
Take your homework to your babysitting jobs for extra time.. when you put down the kids for nap time or bed or something put in some extra study time.. or when u know they are save and fine by them selfs put in 1/2 hr or something..

I know exactly what having to much to handle feels like. Believe me, i have too much on my plate right now. I'm balancing dance, school work, working out, counseling, and volleyball all at once. I know from experience though, how to handle it. What you need to do, is try to pick different days to do each. Of course, you need to do your school work everyday, but things such as horseback riding and your athletic trainer, you could pick different days to do those and try to stick with your schedule. As far as babysitting is concerned, don't be afraid to turn down a job! If you are too busy, or you are feeling overwhelmed, tell the family you are supposed to babysit for that you are very sorry, but you have too much going on. If they are understanding people, they will understand! Trust me! I hope I helped!

tbdrays17 answered Tuesday August 24 2004, 9:48 pm: i would say to make a schedule. depending on how frequently you do these other activities, make a schedule after school to desagnate time for homework, studying, and any other thing for school. this way you know in advance that you will have time for school and all your other things that you do. make sure you keep up with it though. good luck [ tbdrays17's advice column | Ask tbdrays17 A Question ]
iTaLiAn4LiFe627 answered Tuesday August 24 2004, 9:45 pm: Um, well when you go baby sitting you can take it with you and do some of it if you are not too busy with the kids, you can do it in the car on the way to wherever, and you can always do it at night [ iTaLiAn4LiFe627's advice column | Ask iTaLiAn4LiFe627 A Question ]

FrEe2bMe answered Tuesday August 24 2004, 8:45 pm: Well you sound very determined. First and foremost keep doing what's important to you the most as well as SCHOOL WORK!! Those two things should ALWAYS be on the top of your priority list. Next, think about all the things you do in one day -how much down time do you have? do you ever say "omg im so bored im gunna go watch some tv" It is okay to say this some of the time but if you often find yourself in this position and still struggling to keep up with everything..you need to reorganize and reprioritize!!!
You may want to start by making a schedule for the week..
EX: 7:30 AM-2:30PM-school
2:30-4:30 -trainer
5-30-eat/hw
6-8 horseback riding
and so on and so forth
i don't know your exact schedule but that was just to give you an idea. Try to only babysit on set nights of the week and let the people you babysit for know up front so you don't feel bad telling them no at the last minute. If you have down time in other clases at school-start on your homework-when you are waiting at a doctors office do your hw. make time when you can get it.
make a schedule and leave time for hanging out, having fun, and living life!!!
If you need help cordinating it let me know!!- :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
LilMia811 answered Tuesday August 24 2004, 8:41 pm: maybe you should cut down on some stuff... or pick a night when you're not doing all that stuff and just cram. you could also try waking up a little earlier and studying, but you may not like that.
