For some reason some people (especially parents) seem to think theirs an age limit on falling in love. You know differently. Unfortunately you can't really prove anything to you parents in the short term so the best thing you can do is just ignore their unhelpful comments and concentrate on your relationship. That fact that you may have 'serious' relationships is a sign that your growing up and parents don't like to think of their 'precious little children' growing up, but its a fact they inevitably have to accept.

well go out with him again and if its meant to be then maybe after a while of you 2 going out they'll realize that you 2 are serious. thats how my boyfriend and i convinced our parents. hope i helped.

You can't really prove to your parents that you can have a serious relationship. They have to see it for themselves. Maybe have him come over and let them meet him and see how you two really care for each other and they'll see what a great guy he is and that you two really like each other. I don't know if there is a way to prove that you love this guy to them. Just tell them that you really care about this guy..and its actually none of their business who you date if you ask me, unless he's of illegal age.
