Flabby Tummy

Question Posted Wednesday August 11 2004, 5:35 pm

I have had this problem for about 4 years now. My whole body except my stomache is in good shape and I like the way it is and the size. Only problem is my stomache makes me look like im pregnant. I'm 5'3'' and weigh 130-135. I'll try to eat healthy but then at nighttime I'll get so hunfry and want food that I end up getting something to eat like an icecream or sumthing. I know its bad but I don't know how to get over the cravings. Any help on how ot get over the cravings and how to get just my tummy toned. I know your going to say run and crunched but they dont see to help

First of all, crunches make your stomach tighten up as is. Instead of munching on icecream, eat yogurt or carrots or apples. If you want to burn fat, you need to keep your target heart rate up. Walk at a fast, steady rate. Jogging helps also. Find different exercise videos to work out to. If you dont want to crave certain things, then dont buy them and keep them out of the house. Good Luck!

eating less sugary foods will help a lot so watch your intake of carbohydrates and sugars. also a lot of the times u feel hungry your body just really wants water so try drinking a cup or 2 of water b4 u go to bed. and during the day instead of drinking pop drink water or diet pop it should do alot. and running and crunches help alot too!

id also like to just say that just doing crunches will not work u gotta do like aerobics or running just so u kno!

i know you don't want to hear it, but try doing some crunches every day; but that's not what does you the most good. try eeating healthier; whenever you feel like having meat, have some vegetables. try getting the fat free or healthy choice ice cream, and <let] yourself have it like a couple times a week, but cut down on fatty stuff like chicken, pork, beef, etc. try eating stuff w/ vitamins and crap; mite not sound that appetizing, but it'll really help

well yes i am gonna say crunches, it all depends on how patient u are and how many u do a night, i do 5o a night, and i run alot, do stop the cravings, i eat ice cubes, it stops the craving, or i drink alot of water, sometime, i have some soda, but not alot, cause then that could be bad for u, just start slowly with it, then get used to it, it helped me, it should help u, hope i helped

ok, if you like celery, buy celery and peanutbutter to keep at your house, so when you do get hungry, eat that (its soo good) and if you dont like celery, find some other healthy food that tastes good. It works...! :)

plese rate thanks

Running is the best way cause it not only makes you thinner it also helps you heart, but i use trimspa, it works pretty well. I lost 7 pounds from it (140-133) the only downside to it is that you're sappost to be 18, and it keeps you up at night.

its probably not the cravings. you just need to work your abs out. try doing crunches. 100 in the morning and 100 at night. but you have to stick with them, the changes dont happen over night.

You have what we call binges at night. You starve yourself until midnight and then binge on icecream or some other fattening snack. Try snacking on some fruit before you go to bed and maybe have a little icecream too. But not as much as you have now. If you want to get your tummy toned better, try a lot of situps or leg raises. You may have a lot of muscle weight,so I wouldn't worry about your weight hon.

Dear flabby tummy,
my advice to you is to eat a big dinner so you won't get you night cravings. Instead of doing crunches and running mayb you should do punk rock aerobics. They are great excersices and help alot! Here is a link with excercises [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). Hop you get ypur tummy toned and ur nite cravings stop.

To get away from cravings, find something else to do than sneak into the kitchen. And if you must have something get your self a popcicle (80 calories) instead of ice cream (250+ calories). Just make smart choices about food.

And crunches and running do help, but you have to do them regualry and for at least 2 weeks before you see results.
