snowwalker69 answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 10:36 pm: Hey there. Okay, you should do 3 things. Everywhere you go, go prepared ... tampons, pads, whatever you use. Second, go to your doctor. It's normal to be irregular like that ... a lot of my friends are like that, but when you go to your doctor you can do the third thing ... ask for birth control. With Birth Control, it will regulate your periods so well, you'll know what date, and time of day your period will start. I guarentee you that. If your parents don't like the fact of you on birth control, then I'm not sure what you can do .... [ snowwalker69's advice column | Ask snowwalker69 A Question ]
born2baprincess answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 6:58 pm: Dont worry about it. It will soon be regular. If not u can go see a doctor and they can put u on the pill. Most of the time with gurlz the regular flow happens with in 2-3 years after u start. Its normal for some gurlz we are all different. ya know [ born2baprincess's advice column | Ask born2baprincess A Question ]
athousandmiles answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 3:55 pm: Don't worry about it. I had very irregular periods until I went on the Pill. I know its irritating, but its one of those things you just have to learn to live with. They may get more regular as you get older, but if they don't, there's nothing wrong with you. Dont_Fall_Twice answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 2:45 pm: I wouldn't worry too much about it. I skip like that too. 1 regular period, wait 3 months, wait 1 month, wait 3 months. I wouldn't really worry about it, but if it does... Talk to a close female adult about it, or see a doctor. Best wishes... frozenpeas848 answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 2:13 pm: alrighty, this is the same exact thing that i have. ive been getting my period for the same amount of time as you, and im very irregular. i can get it one month and not get it for another 3. i told my mom (shes a nurse) and she says that it might have something to do with your thyroid gland. the thyroid gland is the gland that controls it or something she said. dont worry, if this is the case then there isnt anything wrong. but you should definetly tell your mom (if you havent yet) and ask if you could see the doctor, just to make sure. hope i helped! xokristabelle answered Tuesday August 10 2004, 2:07 pm: Some girls have this due to genetics. You need to talk to your doctor, if it's bad enough you an be prescribed birth control, which will probably stop it or make it more regular. If you're sexually active, though, you should be warned that sinec you don't get your period when you have birth control, you might not know if you are pregnant. Good luck!
