Don't worry about it. I had very irregular periods until I went on the Pill. I know its irritating, but its one of those things you just have to learn to live with. They may get more regular as you get older, but if they don't, there's nothing wrong with you.

i have a real big problem.. my best friend cuts herself.. she doesnt seem to think that theres anything wrong with it. but there deff. is. and the reason she does it is bcuz the kid she likes isnt going out with her but he likes her. and i keep talking to her telling her that she needs to stop bcuz shes gona end up killing herself one day. and she keeps saying i know i know im gona stop. but she never does. and she told me not to tell her mom or any guidence counclers or anyone. how i can help her stop hurting herslef without telling anyone about it?? I self harmed for years, and, speaking from experience, you could try telling her to stop but its unlikely she'll listen. There's obviously some very deep thoughts going on inside her head and I think the best thing you can do is be there to listen as a friend. Try and understand her point of view, and when you have done that, then try and convince her to speak to someone. Most of all, just be there for her.

I'll be honest, my first kiss sucked. It was with a guy I didn't know at a school dance and it was BAD. Don't worry about the fact that you haven't had yours yet, its much better to wait for the right guy. And when it does happen, it will come naturally, and if the guy really likes you, he won't mind if you haven't had much experience. Practice makes perfect. x Lauren x

ok mai friend (shes 14) n her ex (hes 16) went out for 10 months n just broke up yesterday cuz his dumbass cheated on her w/ a 12 yr old. yeh...thats kinda sick, but anyways she really loves him n he wants her to forgive him so they wont be on bad terms w/ each other. but, the problem is, theyre both too stubborn to talk about what happened..do u have any advice for her? I think that there is something very wrong with a 16 year old that dates a 12 year old, not to mention the fact that its illegal. I also think that if the guy really wanted to be on good terms with her, he would talk to her, since the whole thing was his fault to begin with. I think she should forget about him and find a better guy who won't cheat.

Wow you really helped me out. I think also that the relationship was over before all of this happened but neither of us could face it. The problem is he doesnt know about me and his brother and i dont think he should EVER find out. hes going to hendriken if you know what highschool that is, and hes gona b playing baskebtall like a star on the team . i want him to be happy and not interfer with that so i think a simple hello here and there when we see each other is good because as of now his mom wont even let us talk or see each other and your totally right, he has to live with that the rest of his life. shes gona destroy him, what do you think?

The way I see it, what happened is much better coming from you than the guy's brother, but on the other hand, the information would do nothing but hurt him. So the decision about whether or not to tell him is really up to yourself. As for his mom, she can't really stop him from talking to you, its mainly his choice. This is going to sound harsh, but why not just find something to take your attention away from him? Like I said, if its going to happen it will happen, and he'll manage to get around the problems with his mom. Meanwhile, go out, have fun with your friends, meet guys, and do your best to move on. Being hung up on one guy can be pretty horrible. I'm glad I helped before and I wish I could help more but its really up to you now. I seriously think I might have a problem. I'm goign otu witht his boy and I totally love him. I know I do. The only problem is, once guys start likign me alot and really falling for me I start ebcomign a total bitch. I'll say things on purpose to piss them off or to get them upset. I can't understand why. This isnt the only relation ive been in. Ive been in one for about a year before too and i did the same thing. I really want to help but unfortunately I do exactly the same thing. Whenever I'm in a relationship I find myself getting distant and bitchy after a while. Anyway, I'm with a guy just now, and any time I find myself doing it I'll ask for a few days space. Because we're so close, he doesn't mind. After a bit of space, I feel a lot better and act a lot nicer. Explain your feelings to your boyfriend! If he's a good guy, he'll understand. God, I totally get where you're coming from, so please leave me a message or email me or something. It would be really great to talk to someone who understands where I'm coming from. x

Me too! That's like my ultimate dream! Don't stop writing, ever. It depends what you want to write. If you want to do stories or novels, watch how people act, it will help you when writing about characters. If you wanna write columns, ask for your friends opinions on things that concern you. Send stuff away, even if you don't get anywhere, people will likely send you back advice and criticism! Leave a message in my inbox or whatever, I totally want to talk about this! x

You don't deserve to be ignored. Maybe he's going through something bad and doesn't want you to get involved. Or maybe he's just an asshole. Call him, ask him what's going on and if he still treats you like shit, end it, because you deserve an explanation at least.

If you're sure this is how you feel, I reckon you should suss out how your parents feel about homosexuality, to help determine how hard it will be to tell them. If you think they'll be very uncomfortable with it, maybe drop hints, then when you tell them, it won't be as big a shock. The only way to really go about it is just to sit them down and tell them straight out. Remember that they are your parents, and though they may be shocked at first, they love you and will accept it in time. x

Don't get together with your ex just for the sake of having someone there, I've been in relationships like that, and if you don't really want to be with him, there's no point. Pressuring you into having sex with him was wrong, and you were right to end it. Go with your gut instinct, if it doesn't feel right, don't do it. As for the other guy, don't stress too much, if it wasn't meant to be, it wasn't meant to be. Also, I always find that as soon as you stop looking for a guy, one comes along. So why not go out, have fun with your friends and forget guys for a while. Being single can be fun! Hope I helped a bit!

Its her decision, not yours, but I personally believe that 12 is a very young age to lose your virginity. I know that, as a 12 year old, I was not emotionally ready for that kind of intimacy and your friend may well regret this later in life. She is not legally supposed to be having sex but if she has made a mistake, it was her mistake to make. I don't believe you should label people by calling them "sluts". The definition of a slut is someone that sleeps with a lot of people but everyone is different and shouldn't be judged.

You're not crazy. You're also not right or wrong. Only you know why you told him to stop. Maybe, subconsciously, you know you aren't ready for a relationship or maybe you're scared of your feelings. Talk to the guy and let him know how you feel once you've cleared your head. Tell him you weren't brushing him off but are confused. Maybe if you talk it over, you will work it out.

Okay...full on sex is when the guy puts his penis inside the girl's vagina for pleasure. The first time you do it, it can be pretty painful, but it gets more enjoyable in time. However, you are only 13 and below the legal age of consent. You should definitely wait till you are a lot older and with someone you love. As its so painful the first time, its much better if its with someone you care about and are ready. Hope this helps. x

Haha there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, its completely natural. I have an incredibly high sex drive (luckily so does my boyfriend) and I'm a girl too. Why should women be any less sexual than men? The point is you're not weird, and you have nothing to worry about. If all else fails buy a vibrator ;)

i went out with this kid for 8 mons and we shared everything together, i mean the relationship was perfect. He was always there for me and he didnt care what other people thought. i loved that about him. But when his crazy mother put an end to our relationship he didnt even wana try to make it work. Now hes in Florida playing basketball and i did a no no with his brother. But i regret it because the only reason i did it was because he reminded me so much of my boyfriend. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it may be time to give up. I'm sure you could understand his feelings if he chose not to forgive you for what you did with his brother, but it sounds like the reletionship was over before you did that. Infidelity is just a sign that something else is wrong with a relationship, so talk to him, apologise for what you've done, but if he doesn't take you back don't be too shocked. If there's even a chance you guys can stay friends, you should take it now by speaking to him. If your relationship was as good as you said it was, he might be willing to stay your friend. Either way, what's meant to happen will happen, and if you guys are meant to get back together, you will.

I know how hard it is to find out someone doesn't feel the same way about you. It can be quite easy to convince yourself that they're attracted to you, and it can take a long time to recover when you find out they're not. This is why it might be difficult for you to accept that if he doesn't feel this way now, you can't force him to. But what you can do is attempt to save your friendship and try to move on. I know its a cliche but there are plenty of fish in the sea, and wasting your time on someone who's not interested will destroy you. I should know, because I spent 2 years obsessing over a guy who didn't love me. Anyway, my point is, keep this guy as a friend and wait for the one who does feel the same way. You can't change his mind for him. Hope this helps a bit. x
