you could be having pain because the tampon itself is a little too large or that you are tensing up when trying to take it out. Talk to your DR if this keeps being a problem

I haven't had it get caught by skin, but I have had it where it hurt when pulling it out. You just need to relax, sometimes if your tensed up it will hurt. Don't rush taking it out either. I'm sure it's normal, you have nothing to worry about.

Maybe you were pulling it out at a weird angle? But it doesn't sound normal to me. I'd ask a doctor.

Make sure you are using the right absorbency tampon for you - if you try to pull out a tampon when it's not soaked up enough blood, it can be much harder to get out.

Every time you go to the bathroom, take the time to make sure the tampon string is not bunching up in the entrance to your vagina - straighten it out without pulling the tampon out.

Also, make sure you aren't changing tampons too frequently. You'll probably want to change it every four hours.

It may not be anything serious, but then again it could be. my advice, is to tell ur mom or someone close to you that could take you to the doctor. Dont get to freaked out about it tho. everyone is different "down there" and that just may be how you are. any more questions stop dont hesitate to stop by my column.
