If you are just interested in toning up, pilates, yoga, or muscle specific exercise can help.
Keep in mind, though, that if you are only working your upper legs, chances are you'll only make those mucles stronger and possibly larger.
UpOnCloudNine01 answered Monday August 9 2004, 7:19 pm: well you can't loose weight in just one spot..you can tone it which works a lot better.. try doing pilates and running. Seventeen.com has lots of good excercizes so try looking there. ~Sarah~ [ UpOnCloudNine01's advice column | Ask UpOnCloudNine01 A Question ]
crystal200022us answered Monday August 9 2004, 7:12 pm: Well, walking is a good exercise for the legs to start out with. I recommend walking for at least 30 minutes a day. Also, I recommend leg lifts. For those, you lay on one side and you bring your leg up and down. I would start out with 30 on each leg but if you can do more than go for it! I hope this helps!
