Pretty much what everyone else said on here.. wait until you're in love, because it feels so much better that way. I lost it when I was 16 to my boyfriend that I was in love with and am still with after two years. However, my best friend lost it to her next door neighbor when she was 15 and has been with many guys since then. Now I am a lot more satisfied with my sex life than she is.

While I understand that you WANT to have sex, you should wait until you are in Love for your first time. Its something you can only do once and being with someone that you love and loves you back makes it so much more. With all the 'toys' out there, you can take care of your own needs until you find the right person.

to me, it sounds as if you just want to. which isn't bad, all 17 year olds want to. and when they say they don't, they're LYING. its good you're coming into touch with your feelings and urges, but since you don't have anyone to do it with, then just wait for mr. right to come along. but that doesn't mean that the first guy who you go out with now, you just jump into bed with. no, you date around, see who you like, who you would enjoy losing your virginity to, and then when it feels right, then have fun. and be sure to STAY SAFE. being a 17 year old virgin isn't the worst thing in the world. :)

I'm at a loss as to why you want to have sex so badly. Do you just want to do it just so you can impress your friends or what? This shouldn't be something you do just on a spur of the moment like that. Really,REALLY think about what exactly it is you're about to do.
