How can I lose some weight?

Dear Advicer,



My question to ask is about Health & Fitness.I've always been going on diets but they never seem to work for me.I mean I want to have the perfect body and be perfectly fit.I weigh about 140 I'm like medium not fat or anything just a little.I would like to weigh at least 110.Do you have any Advice for me? I always been eatting the wrong kinds of food because its soo hard because my mom makes brownies and cookies stuff like that sometimes.I try going on diets but I always seem to eat alot.I did try to starve myself the one time but I told myself thats not the bright Idea.I need too be skinny I want to be skinny and phsyically fit.Please help me

Hold up. No one NEEDS to be skinny. As long as you are healthy, that's what matters. I don't think it would be healthy for you to lost thirty pounds, but if you want to lost weight, try eating healthy food in small portions, but don't cut out things that you like, that will only make you eat more, eat them in moderation.

If you excersise regularly then you should be able to eat sweets occasionly, without gaining the extra weight. Find an excersise that you enjoy and do it daily!

Well, definitely don't starve yourself. That's utterly the wrong thing to do. It'll just make you sick, not skinny.
Every time you want something sweet, go for a fruit. Every time you want something crunchy or something, go for veggies, or nuts.
Give yourself one serving of everything. If you're not fat, really, you don't need to weigh 110...
I mean, my friends think I'm really skinny - I'm 5'3" and I weigh 112. I eat the wrong foods, too, but it doesn't really hurt me.
Just be careful you're not trying to make yourself too skinny!

Ok, the best diet on the market right now is the South Beach Diet, because its the cheapest and you can eat pretty much everything, but again, everything bases around if your active or not. If your active and play a contact sport, you should be fine with just a little bit of a diet, because a little food does nothing if you are not properly fueled for your game or practice, so dont starve yourself, because you will gain it back anyway. If your not active, the diet is pretty hard, so you should go with the atkins diet, which is pretty much no carbohydrates, which is mainly foods with bread. Also, if you can help it try and stay away from cookies and brownies, yeah i know its rly hard bc i have a mom like that too... but the payoff is much greater than what you put into it. You should grocery shop with your Mom or Dad or whoever takes care of you, and buy things that are healthy choices, like i know they have low carb sodas, like C2 (made by coca-cola, and it tastes exactly the same,) some other foods good to eat are like NutraGain bars, because they fill you up pretty good, and are just as good as cookies.

good luck on your diet, hope u loose the weight, but you have to stick to the diet, i suggest you look it up on like google or yahoo or sumthin like that. 30 pounds is a lot of weight, you will deffinately feel the difference, your going to have alot of energy

Dear Health and Fitness,
Where to start...to get into shape, maybe take some dance classes over the week. Dancing always helps! Maybe over the weekend you could do some swimming, swimming will harden your arm, leg, and stomach muscles. At a local store you can by an exercise tape to do at home. If you do all of those things, and work as hard as you can every time, then you are sure to loose weight. But you MUST maintain doing it! But dont wear yourself out. If you are overworking your body, its ok to take a week break. But dont be constantly be taking breaks. Ok, about the foods, you can eat normal foods, just try not to eat a lot of grease. You can't just go on a diet of just eating salads and veggies, cause your body isn't use to that and it needs the energy. So eat, but not food with a LOT of grease on it, its ok to have a salad once and a while. With chocolate, tell your mom ahead of time that your making a goal, and your goal is to not eat chocolate for 3 weeks. If your fine with not eatting chocolate, then maybe go for a month. So, couple of rules, 1) Dont starve yourself! 2) Dont overwork your body! 3) Tell me how your doing, and if its working! =)

first off with an attitude like that your going to end up driving yourself to anerexia or balemia. Having a perfect body is impossible w/o alot of plastic surgery and even then its not perfect. ok and as to you loosing your 30 pounds naturally thats gonna take you a while but stick with it. ok some advice for loosing it is drink about 6-8 16 oz. cups of water a day. also your gonna have to cut back on junk food for a while, im not saying you cant have it im just saying to cut back as much as possible. also you mine as well give up on sit ups the best type of exercises you can do are cartiovascular... ex. jogging, you might want to get a medicane ball, um jump rope, and if you have one a heavy bag or speed bag are great. hope i could help

* ok focus* try this no diets but lots of excercise and no candies and if ur mom makes brownies and cookies eat some but not everyday like ones a week and dont stuff ur self just try one* drink alot of water like 11 cups of water a day*if u do thats for a month u will loose just like 15 lbs and plus the excersice i bet u'll weight 110 in liek 2 months*

Excercising ( spelling ? ) helps a lot. Maybe you can do like 100 sit ups a day, if you have a treadmill you can run on that each day for the same ammount of time. Just stuff like that to get rid of the acsess fat. Also, limit your calories and try to eat things with less fat. And, don`t eat stuff before you go too bed .. ( i heard that helps gain a few punds ). And If you drink a lot of soda, you might want too cut down on that because that has a ton of sugar in it and is really bad for you.
