I ran a mile in 6 minutes.. and so for you it took you 10 min. for a mile... mm not bad for someone who never runs. Just keep running-trix

I run cross country and track. In cross country people run two miles in an average of 14 minutes. All of those people are 13 and 14 year olds. For a person that never runs, 2.2 in 20 isnt bad. You did a good job.

If you usually never run, then yeah it's pretty good. For cross country standards though it would be just so-so/okish, but if you hardly ever run then it's pretty good =)

Better than my time at your age. Around 15 minutes for 1 mile. Of course, I walked half of it and I was a sprinter. But that's good, try to beat it.

If you're a cross country person, then no it sucks. But for somebody who never runs and at 13,yeah its very good. If you keep training your times will go down. You'll hit your peak around 28.

Moop answered Monday July 26 2004, 10:15 pm:
it is very good. I run about 1 in 9 minutes and I do biking three times a week. At thirteen I could maybe run 1 mile in 14 minutes.

Lizzy answered Monday July 26 2004, 10:14 pm:
Yes that is really good. Usually one mile takes around 8 minutes for a thirteen year old teen and then a second mile takes +1/2 of the time, so most people take around 20 minutes for two miles and then the point two would take even longer, so i suggest you go up for track.
