Okay you sound just like me--BIG SPENDER! If your looking for alot of clothes for a good price maybe you should get a few key pieces, like jeans and a denim skirt at Hollister or Abercrombie and Fitch, then go to TJ MAX or Marshalls for a good deal on cute tops and maybe even cute shoes! But stores for cute shoes, bags, accesories, and T-shirts that i like to go to are VinTaGe stORes! They always have some of the cutest things! You can always get a simple white shirt and pair it with a cute pair of jeans then put it with a cheap pair of pumps and cute jewelry and a fun bag and you have an awesome look!

You sound quite spoiled. Sorry if thats mean, but from what you say it's probably true. 500 dollars is way more than you need to buy school stuff. If you want more then you should go get your own job.

If you were spending your own money, instead of your mother's money, then you would understand how money works and not buy "hardly anything" for almost half of your entire budget. Money isn't never ending. You can't just expect it to replenish itself when you've spent it all on the most expensive name brand cloths out there.

Holy Cow. I could do a whole bunch with that money, and only spend 200 on clothes. Go to different stores. Everything does not have to be name brand. The more things you can mix and match the better. Like this belt, that shirt, and pants would also go with that skirt or shorts.

Have a plan in mind before you get to the store about what you need, and some of what you want. If you really get stuck, keep the receipt and take some unnecesary stuff back. Even the thrift store has some cool little belts and things, but you could even spend that much at Goody's and still not need to do that.

Its ok to splurge on one or two things you really like, if you actually wear them. But be careful.

dear 500 dollar,
first of all people don't see your bras and panties. so get some but don't spend all ur money on them. secondly, 500 dollars is twice as much as i get. you don't have to go to these expensive stores to get cool clothes. accesories get mostly earings and bracelets and necklaces.
shoes get comfy but fashionable. if you get high heels don't get really high heels. be ur self with a little new summthin summthin. don't go to the most popular stores cauz there will more than
likely be some one with the same or close to same
outfit. so when you pick out outfits be urself.
hope i helped!! *~~~shana~~~*

I hate to be blunt, but this is the truth. To me, it sounds like you're being REALLY spoiled, my first impression was of a spoiled rich girl who's used to getting what she wants. Maybe your mom is trying to prepare you for the real world? You only need so many shirts and so many shoes. Hollister is pretty expensive, you can get jeans for 29.00 at Old Navy, you don't need to have the most expensive clothes, do you know how many are less fortunate than you? My budget is 250, and I'm thankful for that, I have $500 from my uncle in graduation money also, and I feel like I don't even deserve all that money. Try shopping at Old Navy, Rue 21, and Forever 21. And for hoodies (if you wear them) try shopping at the Salvation Army (I'm not kidding) or resale shops, the hoodies there are A LOT more comfortable because they've been worn in and aren't all stiff. Or make your own money! Get a job! Babysit! So many people out there would LOVE a budget of $500, so be grateful

You should be thankful for what you do have. I don't have a budget. My t-shirts are plain and cost a dollar each. my socks have holes and my pants are old. I was happy when my grandmother bought me a pair of pants for Christmas. My shoes are years old, and we are in dept. Some people are less fortunate than you.

Well, I suggest shopping at Old Navy. They always have sales and they have GREAT clothes. I shop there all the time. In fact, I'm practically a billboard for them. LOL! Anyway, definitely buy what you need not what you want. Of course, I would start out with some jeans and some shirts and then buy other things. I hope this helped!
