Well, yeah. You have a right to be pissed off. Why would he lie? Maybe he's thinking about dumping you. You should, very assertively, ask why the hell you weren't invited to the damn party. You should've been guest number 1.

I would talk to him about it. If you feel like you should have been invited then yes, you probably should have. And even if it is just a guy thing then you should have at least heard about it, shouldn't you have?

Talk to him and don't go through his two friends to get some answeres

maybe its a surprise party and your boyfriend doesnt really know about it. ask him if he knows about a party or something on sunday. you werent invited to his party? thats crappy. maybe you should reschedule your trip and go to the party instead. on another note...whats with the double i thing???

He probably lied about his birthday party on Sunday because he didn't want you to believe that his friends were more important that you. I think that you should pretend like you don't know about his birthday party and just say "something came up. I'm really sorry but I don't think that I can do anything this Sunday." I don't think that you should go either, unless his friends invite you. It might just be a traditional guy thing where you'd feel unconfortable. His friends probably just want to have a guy's day out. If you don't go to his birthday party, then you can always celebrate his b-day some other time with just the two of you.
