Siren_Cytherea answered Friday July 16 2004, 6:10 pm: Aww, that's sucky...I used to have some trouble getting them in. I used to use playtex slimfits. They're really easy to get in.
Or, you can use ones WITHOUT applicators and use your finger to get it in. (I hear those are really easy to get in) That way you can sort of feel where it's supposed to go, as oppoesd to guessing.
The main problem I had is that I needed to relax.
I really reccomend for you the ones without applicators. You can get your finger in there, right? Or maybe just wait awhile, if you've like just started your period. When I'd just started, I couldn't get a tampon in.
I hope I helped!

HollyAnn2282 answered Friday July 16 2004, 4:54 pm: are you reading the directions? It shouldnt be that hard! You cant hold it up and down you kind of have to hold it at an angle. But if the directions arnt working then theres something wrong that your doing cuz you shouldnt force it, But make sure you do have the right hole, that could be a problem.

XoKaThArInA~eLaInExO answered Friday July 16 2004, 4:16 pm: well im guessing youre not sexually active if its not sliding in easily the only advice i can give is to sit on the tiolet and this may sound funnii but spread your legs and put the head of the aplicator at the entrance of your vagina amd slant it upward and try sliding it in..if it doesnt work then try other angles but make sure whichever slant makes it go in is comfortable..you may just be one of those ppl who cant wear them..o and yes playtex or kotex are my personal favs and i do like the pearls. KateStar1011 answered Friday July 16 2004, 4:04 pm: AWW!! Hunnie!! I know how that was. If you've found the whole and everything...then just try different slants if you kinda know what I mean. It'll go in after you try for a while. Sit there, and relax. Your vagina is just not used to something going up in there I guess :-/! Try it, and just work with it a little more. Oh ya...and use Tampon Pearls...I agree w/ the other girl...they do smell good and they are a plastic applicator. Good Luck! <3 [ KateStar1011's advice column | Ask KateStar1011 A Question ]
MissJ1414 answered Friday July 16 2004, 4:00 pm: Just put like the whole top part off the aplicator in and then push the bottem..it might hurt just a little bit the first time but if you suck it up the pain will only last a second. I hope you get it sweetie! [ MissJ1414's advice column | Ask MissJ1414 A Question ]
