need to lose a bit hey folks... i need a little help here. i weigh 200lbs and am 5"7... (i'm 14, female) i really need to lose some weight. i don't need to lose it real fast... just like, 10 or 15lbs in the next month and a half... any tips?

i dont really think its that healthy to lose that much in that amout of time but to lose weight you could eat healthy, drink a lot of water,and excersize(running,lifting weights, and all that stuff) ]
Dont go on atkins.. it will bring you a bigger risk on getting a heart attack. Do a daily work out. Go running for 15mins and do crunches to get abs. Try to work all of your mussles so u can also get strong. Dont eat any junk foods and keep you spirit high. Have faith in yourself and be motivated by yourself. If your not motivated re think about how much you want to be skinny. Its all about how you feel. ]
Low carb and excersise are really good dieting ideas. If you wrk out every day and dont cheat on your diet you should be able to loose some weight GOood Luck ]
well if u feel that u dnt need to loose weight fast.. jus take ur time and do what u think u shood.. but cut down on the sweets if u eat em.. and tryy to get out and walk a lil bit more.. it really helps.. also if u have like free time go to the gym or if u have stuff ion ur house work out wen ur not busy.. i think that 200 punds isnt that bad 4 ur hieght and age,., and u can loose the weight if u want to!

whenever u excersise MAKE SURE U HAVE WATER
soda will hurt u, and make the heat worse
if ur gunna jog or run or walk, then do it at nite about a half an hour to an hour before ur curfew, that way it's cooler outside, unless it's cold wherever u are, then do it during the day
cut down on eating
like at dinner just have one serving, don't go aneorexic or bulemic or anything, just don't fill up wit junk food
i kno im a lil overweight, but i try to lose it, it's harder for me cuz i have a slo matabolism, if thats ur problem(slow matabolism) then talk to ur doctor, and ask he/she about weightloss tips!!

Don't snack when you are hungry for dinner, just grab some vegetables like a carrot or celery. Have plenty of protein at dinner so you won't get hungry later. Try to cut how many catbs you take in in half! For excersisng, do wall sits, jog maybe around your block, and do crunches. But if you do crunches, only so them every other day cuz you actually stretch the muscles and then when you don't do them and then do it in a few days, you gain muscle that way! well eat heathly and go on walks jogs and don't sit around all day and do nothing at first u won't see improment but but as the days go on u will ]

ok just eat healthy and exercise like everyday. get into a sport.do some sit ups stretch and if u are eating too much just drink more milk cuz it makes u fuller and eat more things like fruits and veggies.i like to dance artound in my room to burn off calories after i eat maybe thatll work for u too just think healthy. ]

It helps me count my calories. I am trying to stay under 1500 a day. I have been doing it for two weeks and have already lost 5 lbs! You really just need to pay attention to what you are eating.
Before I started paying attention to what I was eating, I figured I was eating 2500 calories or more a day! No wonder I was gaining weight. Cutting away over 1000 calories every day makes a huge difference. And you don't have to eat less, and starve yourself. I use to drink pop all the time. 2 cans of pop is like 500 calories right there, what a waste! Now I have switched to diet, or water with lemon! A little change like that can make all the difference! I also stear clear of fatty foods, and pasta is only an ocasional thing now. ]

Try working out (like swimming and on excercising machines) basically go to a health club and sign up. Try avioding the junk food and stick to healthy. Its okay once in a while to have a little junk food. ]
It all depends where you want to lose the weight. Different exercises target different areas. However, jogging is always a great idea. Jogging targets your upper arms, legs, butt, belly... simply put, you just can't go wrong with jogging. Jog for a while, then when you feel you're ready, jog while holding 3 or 5 pound weights in each hand. Also, crunches are a good idea. If you do these excerises daily, you'll find that you'll lose about 12 pounds within the first week, and if THAT isn't motivation.. I don't know what is! Remember to drink lots of water to stay cool! You should also try eating heathlier. Eat smaller portions several times a day : one soft boiled egg and piece of wheat bread for breakfast.... three hours later... try and apple with a tiny piece of cheese... few hours later... try a protein bar, and a salad for dinner. Dieting doesn't mean you always have to stick to salads. You can eat the same things you normally do, just be wise about portion size, and spread it out! However, I suggest dropping soda all together. If you're a big time soda addict, you'll be surprised at the difference that makes alone!! Try your best to only drink water and milk. I recommend staying away from those killer calories though : cake, McDonald's Big Mac and so on and so forth. And it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a friend to do this with you. Go on the South Beach Diet or Atkins Run/Jog everyday and i know everyone hates the's but Cruches!! i acctually like thoses for sum reason but while your working out remember it will all pay off in the end!! ]
