im gonna be a freshman next year and im really afraid im not gonna fit in. see i have plenty of friends now but i worked pretty hard to get and keep them. im... different to say the least and a lot of people dont get me and now it feels like i have to start all over again to find friends. and frankly, im not sure how. im kinda anti-social in a way... i dont like people on a whole lol cause they're stupid... but i do like meeting new people and i would really like to make some new friends

Well just try 2 bi non antisocial. You might acuatlly find some friends that think the way you do. U never know until u go 4 it.

Hey. High school, they're are so many different people there. You are bound to meet someone you will relate to. Trust me, you meet TONS of new people. Everyone will talk to you. But, just try to be outgoing and talk to people. I mean you dont have to be really talkitive, but when you're in class, talk to the people next to you. Do that in every class, then you'll meet tons of new people!!

there are tons of people just like you! they are all over high school and if ur lucky u will have lunch or classes with your other friends...in class u will almost HAVE to talk to people for one reason or anyother soo just look for people that seem like they like the same things as you...im your same age but i guess im a "prep" if you wanna put me in a group...but if u have a list of your classes and stuff call people up talk to them on the net and see if anyone even people you dont totally get along with hve classes with you...u will know maybe one person!! aand live up summer!!! hope i helped XoXo Sara

just walk up to people and introduce yourself!!! most people wont approache you unless they think they'll get a good response...so let them know who you are...and just be yourself!! everyone hates fake people! plus from what you wrote, you seem like a really sweet person!!

Just BE YURSELF! the world doesn't have nything against you, just the snobby people who have huge egos....but anyway, strike up a conversation, maybe try by your locker, or on the bus, someone older than you is even better, they can help you around the school! When you find someone to talk to, look for:
simularities in:
hobbies
friends
looks
guys
ANYTHING! You get the feeling that you've made a friend when, well, it clicks! You chat on or invite each toher somewhere. Heads up though: just because you don't have simmilar hobbies, doesnt mean u can't be friends, when difference merge thats cool too!

Just be yourself. there are so many people in high school. Someone will be bound to want to conversate with you. Just be friendly and dont be rude.

Don't be afraid of highschool. First day, I was lost and couldn't even find the gym! The upper classman are friendly (most). Stay with your group of friends, and you won't have any problems! Make exeptions, hang out with more people. Outside your group. Join clubs and sports, so many people make a lot of friends that way! BELIEVE ME! If you are different... then the people who are just like you, will be very social. It's a good start ;)

Honsetly it will all work out! You meet sooo many new and amazing people in high school. All of my friends changed from middle school to high school! Like you meet people in all your classes and everything! You will find the people you are meant to hang out with trust me! But dont forget you have to make an effort to. Even though u say your anti-social try to talk to lots of people and you will have SO many friends! GOod luck!!!!!!
