Due to an error that really messed up the site today, I've set up the "give advice" page to operate in "backlog mode" (because, well, we're backlogged). What this means is that instead of just seeing the newest questions first, you're seeing questions with the fewest answers first. After someone answers a question, it gets bumped down. This helps to make sure every question gets answered, and all the questions are answered equally. Questions three days old just aren't shown at all.
I put the site in this mode because we're in an emergency situation, but what do you think of it? Should we have it like this all the time, so questions with no answers are at the top, waiting for you? Or do you think we should go back to the old way, so you always see the newest questions when you click on "give advice"?

I really dont like it this way the old way worked for me. But if u decide 2 keep it this way be my guess. but i did like the old way.

Im 16/f and i think im addicted to alcohol...whenever i see it i must have one...its really bad....ive been drinking for abotu two years now...and im always safe about it..i just ALWAYS want it...like if my rents go out for 15 minutes im in the cabinet taking out vodka...i really dont know what to do... well u need help. u have 2 talk 2 ur rents bout it. Go to a AAA meeting maybe they would help u. Or find something that u can do so when u think of having a drink u just do that certain thing. write and tell me how it works out.

me and my bf were talking last night and he kept saying i hate my brother i wish aron was my bro (thats his cousin) and he kept saying it and saying it and like i hate him i wish he wasnt my brother and i said im glad your bro is your bro and he said why do you always stick up for him? and i said cuz.. i have my reasons and he said he hated his bro more and more and kept going on and on i got really mad b-cuz i love my brother and my brother is dead so out of that i said at least your bro didnt fricken die... was saying that totally wrong? i mean he kept going on and on and i wanted my point across and i've never told him it b4 but now he knows (link)

NO THAT WAS NOT OUT OF LINE. I had a brother that died 2 so i know how it feels, he should have known that u know what he was saying was kind of hurting u because he doesnt know what hes missing till its gone. telling him well at least u had a brother my brother died should have made him thought twice of the things he was saying.

OkaY there is this boy I like. And we go out, lets say his name is Chris. Well we were talking one night and he told me that he luved me and he wasnt kidding. And I told my friend I wasnt like I didnt believe it I mean if A boy just tells you that its really wierd. So yeah I told him I luved him back. But I dnt even know if he does. He told me he does and even e-mailed me saying that he luvved me and that he wasnt lyin. i really like him but im tottally not sur what to do and i like him alot. but i never really thought about luvin anyone until it was tru and how am i supposed to know its tru. i think i luv him but im not 100% sure and i told him that back so obviously he thinks i feel the same exact way. well please can someone tell me if you think he is playing with me. i mean he i liked him in the beginning of 8th grade but then he said that he couldnt go wit me cuz he aint want a girlfriend then all of a sudded we do go out and he is like all i luv u and he said he started likin me on the last day of school whitch was about a month and half ago..so its been a while and we have only been going out for..4dayz?!

this is what u do talk 2 him not by computer its best 2 do it face 2 face but if u cant then on the phone is good. Ask him say Chris do u really love me because its not right 2 play with a girl emotions like this. and if he says yes n hes not playing then be like its only been 4 dayz and i really dont know if i love you but i know i really really like, somewhere close to love. give sometimes cause u knw u just startin going out wit me THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL so you know. Just give time. i had this same situation my exboyfriend since 5th grade said i love u 2 me and i said back cuase i acutally felt the same way back n i ask him if was serious cause u know how do u know what love really is.

hi..im 14 and i still havent even had my first kiss yet. Nor even a boyfriend...ive been asked out before and i just get to nervous to respond. Also, i dont know what to do when im with a guy. Like when i liked this one dude and i sat by him on a charter bus and he was holding my hand and i just was like freaking out and i didnt know what to do...i turned around...what do i do??

Just relax and go wit the flow. When u think u like a boy and he asks u out say yes. Dont get nervous its like riding a bike. Once u get started u dont want to stop.When he holds ur hand hold his hand back. And dont worry bout the kissing do it when ur ready.

i went out with this guy fro 8 months, we broke up durning the school year and i still like him. now my friend likes him. well shes so annoying and she brags about what they to me. Even though he doesnt like her at all and thinks shes annoying. I duno how to make it stop, shes really getting on my nerves and i already tried to talk to her about, it didnt work. HELP! (link)

Say something like what makes u think i want 2 hear u talk about my x like this all the time can u please stop. And if that doesn't work aorry 2 say u need a new friend and u do that only if she continues doing what she is doing and doesn't respect ur wishes.

im gonna be a freshman next year and im really afraid im not gonna fit in. see i have plenty of friends now but i worked pretty hard to get and keep them. im... different to say the least and a lot of people dont get me and now it feels like i have to start all over again to find friends. and frankly, im not sure how. im kinda anti-social in a way... i dont like people on a whole lol cause they're stupid... but i do like meeting new people and i would really like to make some new friends (link)

well out of all my friends i am the only virgin. they all tell me I should lose but I am not confortible with my body and hate people seeing it i mean I am skinny but its like skin and bones. and I don't know if I am ready. Well you may feel left out but who cares. Those other girls just give it up because everybody else is doing, like its some kind of trend. But until you find the right guy who makes you feel special and can tell you when your ready im ready then thats the guy you wil prouly give yourself to. Your first time should be special, romantic. Not just doing cause its there. And then later on regret how your first time went. So when they tease you just proudly say i'm gonna wait until the day when the perfect guy comes along to give myself to. Look at Jessica Simpson she waited to her wedding day.

I just called my boyfriend and he's moving! I know I'm only 11 but I really like him. I've known him for a while and we just started going out a few months ago. We're not breaking up but I don't know. Will the relationship work out? He's got my # and he said he'd call me that way I can get his number when he moves.
