Marijuana: good or EVIL
Marijuana is obviously one of the most popular illigal drugs. but is it really a bad thing? I have personal experiences and well to tell truth, it doesnt really hinder your judgement, nor does it make you feel invincible. All marijuana does is make you really goofy. Ppl say that car accidents happen alot due to marijuana. what these ppl over look is that those kids that are in the accidents are also drunk. which is what really hinders and clouds your judgement.
Is there actually any REAL physical harm that will come from marijuana, aside from the obvious?

No, there is not an real harm done to the body from smoking pot. But i have noticed that long term smoking can hinder the mind a little, but its nothing that cant be fixed when the person stops smoking.

Whether you like smoking marijjuana or not there's bad things that can get into your body by exposing it to marijuana. Smoking marijuana is just as bad as smoking cigarettes...only worse!!

It could cause lung cancer (you're inhaling smoke, that can't be good for your lungs). Also it slows down your reaction time so it is more dangerous to drive while high. However research has shown that people who are stoned drive more carefully. Also I once read somewhere that someone overdosed on weed but I'm not sure if I believe it (i've seen lots of stuff telling me that you can't overdose on marijuana). Contrary to what people say it dosen't kill brain cells. That's alcohol.

There is a lot of controversy on wether marijuana is dangerous or not. In my experience, it's not that big a deal. But it's VERY important to remember that MODERATION is the key. Once a month or two is perfectly fine. It's effects aren't lasting. But anything you inhale into your lungs is hazardous so use it sparingly. People who are high and drive are irresponsible in the first place. I don't encourage someone to drive when high because your giggly and lazy. But it's nearly like being drunk. It's rumored that the government confiscated and changed documents pertaining to the effects of marijuana and covered it up, so you have to go by persoanl experience. Just don't be stupid and get carried away.

There has been a lot of misinformation and myth circulated about marijuana, but that doesn't make all of it false. It definitely does alter your judgement. I would not drive on it whether alchohol is involved or not.
I guess it is no more physically harmful than alcohol, and alchohol is definitely harmful. You can go to jail quicker for marijuana than alchohol (at least where I live.) That's harmful. It has a lot more of a negative social stigma than alchohol. To get some jobs, you don't go through testing for drinking beer but you do for marijuana.

Lung cancer. The carcinogens (cancer-causing stuff) in one joint is equal to the amount of carcinogens in 22 cigarettes. At least that's what I read somewhere.

well for one thing it kills brain cells and therefore will ultimately hinder your judgement and other things as well. and just cause in ur personal experience it hasnt hurt or changed you it has to other people. different people are affected by it in different ways but it really does kill the brain.

some people seem to be able to smoke pot with a level of responsibility.
Others are weak - and after a while, pot just doesn't get them high enough, so they start trying other "harder" drugs. In this way, pot is considered a "gateway" drug. Mind you, this doesn't always happen, but it can happen, and I've seen it happen.
Is pot itself dangerous? It can be. But in other regards, it is safer than cigarettes. It is a grey area - it is not wholly understood. It has much potential merit for pharmaceuticals, but its recreational usage I question.
Marijuana can indeed screw with your sense of perception, thus driving while under its effects is just fucking stupid.

Burn out and dumber some people say but getting caught is bad buts thats all the obvious too. But All i know is its plain and simple.. bad for you.. i mean everybody knows that some wont and some will admit it weather they do or dont do it but I could go on about all the obvious.-trix

Marijuana is sort of in the gray zone of illegality. Sure you can get in trouble with the law by smoking it, but in canada, the consequences are much lower. I really do not know if other physical harm could come out of smoking the reefer besides lung cancer etc.
