I want to get a thong. I am almost 12 and my mom says I am too young! Whenever I ask her she said "Hell no Jennifer! How many fuc*ing times do I have to tell you?!" How can I convince her to let my buy one without her getting mad and yelling at me..... AGAIN!!!

Ok well It was hard to convice my parents too. I am 13 by the way! I hate to give you this advice because I know its not the best so Ill give you the good and then the bad!:
Good: Tell your rents you'll buy them with you money and go to a store with them and buy them(its embarassing for you parents to buy them for you) and if they dont listen let it be. I mean It does itch and give you a major wedgie! Id know!
Bad:If you want them that bad go buy them yourself behind there back! Either you waste 5.00 dollars and throw them awa or go to a friends house and wash them!

You shouldn't buy one behind her back, because I know from experience that it doesn't do you any good. I bought a thong behind my mom's back, and she somehow found out. She got mad at me for not telling her that I bought one. So I'd just say that you should ask your mom for a specific reason why she won't let you buy one.

Despite what someone else said, they aren't uncomfortable. If you really want one then tell your mom you are mature and the only reason you want it is because you'd like to try and see what the fuss is about. Tell her you only want 1 thong and you just want to give it a try. You may even hate them, some people do.

I dont know 12 seems a little young to want get a thong there so uncomfortable but thats ur thing, if she's absoulutly not going to let u get one my best advise is for u to buy one with out telling her or for ur next birthday or holiday that comes up ask get a little box the size of a shoe box buy some lipbalm a small teddy bear a picture of u and a friend the thong u want put it all in the box and wrap it up as a gift and give it to ur friend and tell her to give itto u in front of ur mom it helps if she gets u a card that says 'one gift i know you'v been wanting for awhile so i got it for u i hope u like it' (that meaning the thong) read the card aloud so ur mom can hear that way you'll have the thong and ur mom will know about it and wont take it away because ur friend got it for u trust me works every time hope it works send me some feedback to let me know how it went later-Danielle

when you're 12 you need as much moisture as you can get. ya wanna stay soft, right? well thongs just suck that stuff right outta your butt. and do you NEED one? NO. then why buy it? you may thing you're old enough but next year you're going to look back and say "boy was i immature when i was 12". so wait until you KNOW you are mature. you ARE too young. mothers say these kinds of things for a REASON. stop trying to be sexy or whatever shit you're thinking about. though a lot of people wear thongs, they still see people wearing thongs with it peekin out of their pants and think "slut".

First off, any mother who says words such as those to their child are obviously bonkers. And also, you're twelve. Get. That. Through. Your. Head. You are TWELVE. Thongs aren't for you. Try...oh...sixteen at the least. Really, there's a reason for this. Thongs may seem like just a fashion statement, but due to their sexiness they can lead to harassment and even rape.

I think you should ask your mom again and then if she doesnt let you then you should have a friend buy you one for a gift or get some with out her knowing. then if you cant do that, then wait a few months or when your 13 and then ask her again then if she still says No then I would get some without her knowing and just do your own laundry. Well, 12 is too young to wear one. I guess you could buy one without her knowing and say a friend gave it to you. Or just wear normal underwear, thongs are uncomfortable anyway.
