me and my boyfriend have been going out for about 3 months this guy jake all of the sudden starts liking me and all of my friends are telling me to break up with my boyfriend and go out with jake because jake seems way nicer and that he would treat me better. they say this because my boyfriend is kind of scared to make the first move and its fine im not in no big hurry but jake n i were talking and he said that my boyfriend doesnt give me what i want and he was talking about .. you know.. well c i dont know if jake only likes me for that or because of my personality and stuff and he said i was awesome n nice ? help (link)

a lot of my friends tell me to dump my boyfriend because hes hurt me a lot. but hes also made me so much happier. i dont know what to tell them to stop them from telling me what to do. no matter what they say im not going to leave him. i'd rather die first. literaly. it just gets annoying when they do this to me. its getting me mad at my friends which makes my boyfriend mad at them because i get mad at them. and i havent had too good of friends in the past either. we've been going out for 1 1/2 years. i dont know what to tell them. any ideas? Just tell your friends what you just wrote here... Try for a second to see where they're coming from, and if you still disagree, explain to them you don't appreciate what they say and even though pain has been inflicted, much more happiness has been returned.

2 months? Don't be silly, don't have sex. The thing about dating is that if you give all of yourself... when you break up, a part of you will be left behind. And you said "at school". I'm pretty sure you won't be marrying this guy, so why give yourself away? Do you want to deal with consequenceS? STDs? Pregnancy? Do you know how many kids use condoms but forget some important facts about using one, and get pregnant?
I sound so cynical right here, but ask him to STOP talking about wanting sex. It may lead to a bad decision that will last all your life. You can fool around and act sexual, but real sex is for within marriage only.

i'm 13/f and i weight 115!! i want to lose 15 lbs. and FAST, i already skip meals and sometimes i even make myself vomit... i know it's not healthy but i see myself as the fattest person on the face of this earth. i gained like 15 pounds over the summer and i have no idea how! i have a boyfriend that i havn't seen since the begining of the year and when i see him again i don't want to be all fat. but thats beside the point... does anyone know how to stop food cravings.. besides diet pills cuse i have no idea how i'd get those, and my friends said they don't work. help please (link)

making yourself vomit doesn't work. all it does is damage your mouth and throat. do you know why? because as soon as you consume food, the necessary elements within the food is immediately absorbed into your body. so when you throw up you're just getting out the junk that you get rid of by pooping anyway.
and not eating doesn't work either, because the first thing your body eats up is the muscle and healthy things in your body. the fat is LAST. so really, you're just killing yourself slowly like this. all you can do is stay away from the foods near the top of the food pyramid and exercise regularly.
by the way, i don't see myself as fat so i don't see why you would think you are. and don't listen to the first reply. what a biotch!

don't worry about it. go ask your gym teacher if they have the fat tester. it's this thingie you hold, type in some stats, and it tells you how much body fat you have. you do this complicated equation (i dunno it but the teachers would) and you can see how overweight you are or how under weight. your weight doens't really matter. it's how much weight you SHOULDN'T have. just eat right if you want to lose weight! and work out regularly! play a sport!

make up a way to remember it! like maybe a rhyme or something funny! like i remember what the word discrepancy because i made up something weird. something so weird.. IT WON'T GET OUT OF MY HEAD. discrepancy. it means a divergence or a disagreement. you disagree with your pants every day because you change it for tomorrow! make up something strange. maybe a rap or a word making up steps. like abbreviations. i have a club called POT. stands for Problems of Today. make up something funnn!
