I Don't Know What To Do

Question Posted Monday May 24 2004, 4:55 pm

See, here's the thing. I love my boyfriend, but we're going through this thing right now where whenever we get on the phone, he doesn't talk to much. And sometimes he irritates me. I don't know if I"m comfortable around him though.I think I am, but then again, I don't know what to think anymore. Someone please help me!

well if you really love him... silence and irritation are just small obstacles, ne? ^-^ boys are mostly not as comfortable either on the phone with girls. they mature later. so let it slip for a while. if it gets outta hand, bite him xP

I think that you are getting bored of each other . Why don't you spend some time away from him , just to sort out your feelings and to evoke the feeling of longing . If you feel happier without him , i think you should break up cuz you are just fooling yourself that you love him . If you feel sad without him , you still love him , and need him as part of your life . This isn't very accurate , but is a sure way of telling if you still do have a crush on him or not .
How does he irritate you ? If it is obviously intentional , such as "you look fat in that dress" or "are you that pathetic that you can't even pass home econs ? " chances are that he doesn't really like you any more . However , if he irritates you by repeating questions which concern your welfare , he still does care about you . Just tell him nicely that you need some space and to stop worrying .
Hope i've helped ,
Laura .

Sometimes, when you have been going out with someone for a while, you get bored of each other, even though you love each other. Boredom leads to irritation, which leads to breaking up. To save your relationship, you two should try going somwhere on a date that is really different, or a place you have never been before. Not like a restaurant or anything. Like a roller disco (They have one near where I live anyway...) or something crazy like that.
