I want to get breast surgery to make my boobs larger, but I wanted to know what you guys think. Should I get breast surgery? I am only an A cup right now and I don't feel comfortable wearing tank tops or any clothes that show my real size. I want to make them at least a B cup. If I do decide to get surgery, is who should I consult to get on with it? Has anyone already got surgery who can tell me the price and the side-effects? Thankyou for your help

hey, well i'm not going to say i recommend it or i dont- but if you're doing it to make yourself more comfortable/happy then i would say go for it and i'm all for it- the prices range from 5-10 thousand dollars from what i hear...most of the time its around 6500-8500...i would consult a plastic surgeon in your area but do your research on him...also, if you're around big cities like philly, ny, or la- see if you could get to a top notch plastic surgeon that you know will get the job done right...just so you know you're gonna have to get them replaced at least once in your lifetime bc they start to ripple...umm just do your research and make sure you really want it to make yourself happy and not some guy..the pain isn't worth a guy- make sure youre meeting the age limit too.. good luck =]

Ive never had it done but i cant help you.The cost is about 5,000 dollars. Some effects are..Since your body will still be growing the implants could change shape. Also it leaves some girl to be depressed. So think hard about this ok? ]
Dont get any plastic surgery. just take your own looks and carry them out with natural beauty. Its lots of $$$ and there may be side effects. ]
personally i am against any kind of surgery to change your appearance. I think its shallow and stupid. You should not feel that you should be "like everyone else". After all breasts are just there to provide milk for newborns, nothing else.

I think it's a good idea if you think it is. Do it if you're comfortable with going through with it. And if you don't know how to get this surgery, then go to your doctor or consult a surgeon nearby you cuz I really don't know. Hope I helped!

well you should consider a paded bra and see how you like it if you do get that sergury but there are tons of side effects. so hope you do that good luck! ]
I think most boob jobs look very unatural, and usually unflattering. Have you tried a Wonder Bra? I would look into other alternitives first before ploping down $5000 or more for slightly bigger boobs and scars. I could think of much better ways to spend the money. ]
Don't get the surgery. It's wrong. There, I said it, and I'm not going to go into huge detail, for the first time ever. Don't get the srugery. ]
It sounds like a bad idea to have breast surgery. Get a push up bra. I'm a guy and I prefer natural to silicon. ]
Wait until you are developed, you may bloom like a flower by then. Ok, maybe not like a flower but you get it. Seriously, breast surgery is like a tattoo, you can get it, painful, but if you want to get rid of it, more painful. It is life changing experience. Good Luck

Age is a definitely needed to judge this question.
I'd agree with MFS that you should be fully developed and really think this through completely. Will this really make you feel better about yourself? If its that much a problem and you are only looking to be a B cup try buying a push up bra or a water filled or air filled bra. I had one they are great. Very comfortable. Eventually though, I decided I didnt really care that much because I was okay with my size and thats all that matters.

Here is a checklist to keep in mind:
Breast Implant Surgery Checklist
1. Check the operating surgeons track record and credentials. Find out how often they have performed the procedure, the incidence of implant rupture, and the incidence of both capsule formation and contracture.
2. Research the types, advantages and disadvantages of available implants and why your surgeon is recommending a particular type to you. Ask about the placement of the implant and the resulting appearance of the scar.
3. Get clear answers about the post-operative effects of this procedure. Discuss bruising, bleeding, swelling, infection, pain and recovery time. Be sure to ask about the possible reduction of nipple sensitivity. We recommend that you consider using the services of a complimentary health provider like a chiropractor for your post-surgical recovery.
4. Find out about longer term issues including wrinkles and folds in the implants, capsule formation, expected lifetime of the implant and details pertaining to a possible rupture.
5. Get a clear and detailed financial quote for the initial operation, follow-up visits and the cost of implant removal or re-implantation should this be required.
Definitely check out this page however, it gives the risks that could occur if you do decide to get breast implants:

^ of all the things I read at that risk site this seems to be the most important so I'll highlight it for you:
"An implant can interfere with the detection of early breast cancer because it may "hide" suspicious lesions in the breast during an x-ray exam. It is especially important for women who are at high risk of developing breast cancer to consider this before having implants. The earlier cancer is detected, the better the chance for a cure. "
Good luck and hopefully you make a wise choice. ]
The side effects include many possible complications from the implants. Your breasts could lose sensitivity and could become hard as rocks.
Your age would be relevant here, as breasts generally continue to grow for quite some time. I know someone who had a "boob growth-spurt" in her 20s. Breasts also get bigger after having had kids. ]
