im really scared
ok im in 8th grade but nxt yeari will be going into highschool and im so scared. the school im going to has over 2,000 kids. im really scared of not finding my class cuz its such a big school and im scared of all the boys that will hit on me

Yes, highschool is a big change. I was really scared of highschool too but you'll get used to it after the first week or two. Just remember to tour the school before you start aimlessly walking the campus on the first day of school. Otherwise you are going to look like just another dumn freshman. And yes, boys will hit on you but you'll get used to it. It will happen throughout your life, so just learn to deal with it. 2000 kids isn't that much if you really think about it. You probably won't even talk to even 10% of those people through all of your years in highschool so just concentrate on the people in your social group. That's all that really matters once you get into highschool. Don't worry about it, hs isn't much different than middle school was.

I know it's hard to go to0 a new BIG school...but ask for help if you're lost. As for the boys, don't assume they're all going to hit on you, because maybe they won't. If they do, tell somebody.

Everyone gets lost on their first day. Its scary going to a whole new place and be expected to learn when you're frightened. They will give you a map and within a week you will be used to things.
Everyone gets scared and you will be making lots of new friends and you can all be scared together!

Don't let High School intimidate you. It is not scary like kids make it out to be. By the end of the first week, you will easily know your way around and realize that the school is not as big is you thought. Just wait until you get to college and your classes are in 5 different buildings. I promise you, you will get the hang of that too.
And the boys shouldn't act any differently then you are use to. They may start talking to you more, but they won't be hitting on you all the time. Relax and enjoy this new chapter of you life.

Everyone gets nervous of high school, and trust me, pretty much everyone gets lost at some point. But think of it this way; its an adventure. Its a new start, a chance to make new friends. Just relax and enjoy it. You'll be fine, I promise :) Good luck!

Trust me there is nothing to be scared of. Look at me I started high school when i was 12 and graduated when I was 16 I was scared until I went and found out there was nothing to be scared of. You make friends, and relationships are great to experience. SO trust me you will be fine next year just be confident and everything will work out

I feel you. I think it would be best if you hang with friends you know not going around by yourself to much. For the boys question if you don't feel comfortable with the boys your hanging out with find new boys to hang with.

Hi! Don't worry, high school's not that bad. If you get lost, just ask someone (a friend, teacher) or get a map. If the boys hit on you, tell them off. After awhile, it'll get better.
