I am 12 and I would like to start babysitting. I have a neighbor who has a 6 year old granddaughter and I occasionally baby sit her for an hour or so. I'd like to have more clients (you could call them), but i don't want to have strangers calling me everything friday night. Any ideas?

Bottom line is, you have to start out with babysitting for some strangers before you start to get a good reputation. [ MRSPITA's advice column | Ask MRSPITA A Question ]

Lizzy answered Thursday February 19 2004, 2:54 pm: If you want to start babysitting, you probably will babysit a lot of strangers, but it is not like they will be mass murderers or anything. Ask you mother to ask other mothers with young children to refer you. I hope everything works out for you.
Good Luck

Call them yourself, and offer your services. Just ask them not to give your name away to other people, so you don't get too bogged down. [ MoondustWolf's advice column | Ask MoondustWolf A Question ]
