hi im 13/f and my mom still wont let me babysit. its rlly embarrasing bc i am 13 but she thinks im not "matture" enough. i feel like im being treated like a baby. how do i get her to let me start babysitting so tht i dont hav to hav a babysitter? thanx ~steph~

One of my guy friends at a different school told me that his friend really wanted to meet me and take me out on a date after a football game. So we emailed all week long & talked a little bit on the phone. He seemed excited to meet me. So on Friday, we met at his school's football game. For the first minute, everything was going great. I was cuddling under a blanket with him. He was acting really nice. Then all of a sudden, a bunch of girls came up to him and started flirting with Nathan (that's his name). Hey, I'm 13 in eighth grade, and this Saturday on October 30th, there will be a Junior High Halloween Dance. I need a costume idea, but I go to a Catholic school, so we can't have "vulgar", "revealing", or "gorey" costumes, as my principal says. I want to dress girly, and I want people to be like "Whoa, that is a great costume!" I'm not sure if this would help, but I have red hair that's down to the ends of my shoulder blades and white skin. Any ideas? Thanks I'd really appreciate it.
P.S. PLEASE don't suggest I dress up as Little Orphan Annie.

Hair Color

I have medium blonde hair and I want to dye the ends purple. Now, I'm worried that this will look bizarre and I'll have to cut it. So, I'm thinking about buying the temporary dye. I have two questions. First, do you think what I want to do with my hair would look weird, or do you think I would be better off putting a few streaks in it? My hair goes about halfway down my back. Second, what is a good type of dye that will wash out in one or two showers? The water at my house is kind of weird (It has a lot of chlorine in it) so I need a dye that won't react with the water and make my hair look weird after I wash the dye out.

new years

i guess this might be a stupid question, but something kind of depresses me. my boyfriend asked me last night would it be okay if he spent new years with his guys this year. he said that him and i spent the last 2 new years together and he wants to hang with his friends. ofcourse i said yeah, because im not the controling type. well, even though i said yes, it makes me a little sad knowing that he doesnt want to spend it with me. its like, why cant i chill with his friends too? its not like i never had. do any of you guys think i should tell him how i feel? or do any of you think that im wrong for feeling the way i feel?

i dunno what to do..i've liked this guy..(lets call him mike) .. and ive liked him for about 2 months now but its been like really on the dL .. cuz my best friend marissa is like in love with him..and ive been trieing to make her happy and ive been trieing to hook them up but he just doesn't like her..but todays my berthday and he told me liked me a lil but he never told me cuz of marissa and he knew i woldnt do that ot my friend..but i LOVE him..i dont wanan upset my friend..but then agian..i just wanna do something for myseelf for once..please help me =/
