I'm supposed to analyze a few significant passages from the book 'Les Miserables' by Victor Hugo but Irresponsible Me left my book in my locker at school.
I'm not sure what any of you could do to help me but maybe there's a site somewhere that someone knows about that could possibly have 'significant passages' from Les Mis? >< Or, possibly, someone who has the book could send me a couple passages? I'm absolutely desperate - I'm doing very well in this class and this might jeopardize my grade.

Big Dance

There's a big formal that's coming up in the next couple of months. It's called the "Noel Ball." It's held in November, but you have to send in a reservation for it now, and then you have to send in who is going to be your "escort" by October 7.
I'm a sophomore, and the dance is for sophomore girls and their "escorts" My best friend is a senior. We've been through thick and thin, we're really close friends. So my question is,
Would it be weird to ask him? and how should I ask him? Because nothing would make me happier than him going to the dance with me, just as friends. But I don't know if he'd want to go, since he's a senior, or how to ask him.

my mom went threw my journels and red some stuff about how bad i want to die and details about a time where i was raped and she flipped out at me
i feel so betrayed that MY mother did this because she always talks about how journels are a good thing, and one time i had my friend pamela sleep over and she wont let me have her over anymore because pamela snooped and red one of my journels.. and my sister read my moms journel once and she was grounded for 2 weeks
she doesn't listen to what i say though when i try to explain how i feel she just says im being selfish and just trying to turn this around on her
what can i do to make her see what she did was rong she wont even apoligize..

Hey, can anyone suggest any fun, random, sometimes pointless things to do on a date with a boyfriend that are NOT related to sex? I really could use some ideas, I have a decent budget, but free stuff is best. And nerdy stuff is okay too, if any of you nerds out there have advice to give to a fellow nerd :) Thanks!

so about that yoga with a friend thing, sounds like such an AWSOME idea!!!!!!! if i asked my best friend to do that with me at the Y shed either say "thats sounds sooooo cool" (probably) or laugh and think i was kidding and then ill just laugh too and say "jk" cause i dont want to sound stupid. :-/ so ill ask but thats not the prob. its that i dont know if we even can do it! im going into 7th grade and shes going into 8th. are we to young? and its not even like were fat, we just dont want to get fat! :-P also, should we just have like "sessions" at eachothers house and buy the movies so we can do it like that? ...

my dad says that i can not get a straightner because it will ruin my hair and i will have disgusting hair when i get older and its just really bad for my hair. hes like "you can get the same effect by blow drying it" but i know that you cant because he has this picture in his mind of when i blow dried my hair a certain way once and it was SOOOOO puffy and ugly so i just put it up. and thats what hes thinking of! im like "no dad thats not it! my hair looks soo much different and better when its straightend! it is my hair and ill pay for it with my own money" he just gave me a look like he mite consider it. but i dont know, how can i he sure?

(Sorry if this is long but i really need help). Me and My friend... lets call him Seth... well me and him have been friends for ever... and well in like june i found out who he liked because he told me.. and then i think that i realized that i like him... and he found out too.. and then it seemed like he was ignoring me after that and talking to the girl that he liked annd just like ignoring me.. so i told my friend that and then he said he wasnt and didnt want this to ruin are friendship.. so then he forgot my birthday even though ive know him since 2nd grade.. and then recently it seemed like he was ignoring me.. so i said something to him about it.. and he didnt say anything right away.. so i signed off and i have aim forwording on my ph...
