falling IN love.. not LOVING someone

i'd like to hear everyone and anyone's opinion, but i'd love for the older columnists to help me on this one... question being, do you think there is a certain age in which you can REALLY fall IN love with someone? Or do you think you can fall in love at any age, whether you're 16 or 50? So many people say at 8 you cannot fall in love, yet at 16 you can.. what is the difference? of course, the difference with any age is experiance, but do you guys really believe these theories? i want opinions!!! thanks =]

okay its this boy i really like and weve been talking and lastyear we didnt have any clases together but this year we do and today we were like staring at eachother in class and we have the same lunch together and i called him tonight and we talked for a while but this girl has him on her my space page but thier not a couple and he wants to come see me this weekend and i do too ....but i dont know if he is not serious with her or wants to be serious with me .... and by the way last year we were already established that we like eachother please just give me some advice thanks

I like this guy and we "talked" for a week over the summer. But, then we quit because he got busy, etc. Anyways, he would flirt with me this year a lot and then i found out he got a girlfriend over the weekend so i was sad but i realized people move on. Even though he was cute...but anyways, ever since he got a girlfriend, he dosen't hug me or text me anymore. Oh, also he dosen't know i know. Should i text him and be like "so how are you and your girlfriend?" I want him to know that i know but ever since he got a girlfriend, he dosen't hardly talk to me and he dosen't reply to my texts messages. What should i do?

Ok, so I live near St. Louis and I went up to Milwaukee over the weekend and I met this girl at a wedding reception. We both were staying at my aunt's house. We were up all night and we made out and slept in the same bed (no sex.) Now we both came to the conclusion that we would go out if we lived closer to each other, but we don't, so what should I do so she doesn't stop liking me, because I can't seem to stop thinking about her (and it's really starting to take its toll on work and school...) We talk everyday on the phone, but what else can I do?

Alright im a senior this year :) and i just started hanging out with some old friends again, and one of them k for short, im starting to like.
Everyone in the group knows and he knows...and recently at a party we hooked up.
and Everything is still fine between us...and he's talking to me more on his own and stuff.
But he's just so confusing. I really cant tell how he feels about me, and i dont even know if its worth going for anymore.
so should i go for it, or lay off, or just wait....UGH!

my kind of boyfriends dad passed like a year and a half ago and i think they r having a memorial for him this weekend.
he said he may ot be able to hang bc he has a tough weekend. and i asked me if i knew about his family (which i did) and i just feel so bad. and i want him to know im here for him but i dotn want to be annoying like eveyrone was to him. what can i text him or say to him so he knows im here for him? and he knows im legit, not just hav pity on him?

ok dont think im a slut cause im pretty far from it....but i do kinda feel like one cause i love my friends boyfriend and he has told me that if i really want him all i have to do is tell him and he would leave her for me. i think that is so mean to do though. i could never bring myself to do that to her. i love her as close as a sister and i have told her how i feel about him and showed her some of the txt messages that he sent me so she knows about it and she has talked to him about it and he denied that he would leave her. but we are getting pretty close and im scared to hurt her. another thing is that when i confessed to her she told me that she wasnt to worried that she trusted me and would never believe i would hurt her like that but ...

Is My Girlfriend Cheating On Me?

I have been with my girlfriend for about 5 years now. She often works really late hours and sometimes I can't reach her for hours inbetween. I found some of her panties that she forgot to throw in the wash, and I noticed some thick whitish stains in the crotch area of her panties, and one time some yellowish thick stains and a foul smell. Is that an indication that she has slept with someone?

well me and this guy having known eachother for about two-three years, and whenever we first hung out we hung out almost every single day, or at least tried to. we both liked eachother, but it's just one of those situations where for some reason, it didn't happen. shame shame.
so there's always been a kind of thing there between us that's never left.
well he lives in my area now and school and everything, and i got really excited, and it seems like i saw/talked to him more whenever he DIDN'T live near me then now that he does! i don't know if it's just he's focused on making new friends ( even though he already knows alot of people there, probably more people than i even do ), or if he's just being a ty...

Well it doesnt, and honestly, it's really pissing me off.
Once or twice is some-what acceptable, but i'm talking about almost every day!

I met this guy at a party i went to friday night and i thought he was pretty cute. I told my friend that and she told him. He said i was pretty but he also liked someone else at the moment. Yesterday, one of my friends asked him why he didn't talk to me and he said he didn't want to talk about it. Me and my ex broke up ages ago, but we've been on and off for about a year.
But then about a few weeks ago we had hardly seen each other, he didn't know where he stood and started to like this other girl. He said he was over me and that he liked her.
But now, me and him have been hanging out together a lot and flirting,I see him look at me like he used to, we talk on the phone for ages, he always invites me out and seems upset when I don't come, and goes quiet if I mention another guy to someone.
But he also likes this other girl, and he goes to sixth form with her and spends a lot of time with her, and everyone seems to assume they're going to go out.
I really love him, and want to be with him, how can I get him back?

So ive been dating this guy for about a month and a half. He is really quiet! People say he is only like this around me. I understand that probably means he is just nervous around me, but this relaionship is getting a little strainuous because of it. Conversations are so awkward, the very little amount of times we have them. We dont go to the same school, so i only see him when we make a date, and thats really awkward too. We never have anything to talk about...
Idk it's just... tough.. anything would be helpful, just dont say hes just nerovus give him time cause i already got that, thanks ;)

My bf just broke up with me like 3 weeks ago, and we had been going out for 9 months! At first i wasn't too bugged by it b/c he had been being a jerk and it was kinda nice being single. Now, he has a new gf (they both go to a different school) and i almost feel jealous. We e-mail eachother...but don't ever talk on the phone...even tho he said he wanted to be "friends" still. I just want to get over this guy since it seems like he got over me pretty quickly (he got a new gf like a week and a half after we broke up). When I e-mail him I think I always sound desperate and like i'm trying to get him back, but i don't mean to sound like that nad i really have no idea what to do.

I just recently started dating my boyfriend. I've known him since we were younger because we went to school together. Throughout high school we never really hung out with the same people so i wasn't around him that much. He's been in the army for almost a year now and when he was just home on leave we started dating. Even though we were only hanging out for a week, we really noticed how much we like eachother. Do you think i'm wasting my time in this relationship since i can't see him that much and we didn't have a chance to get that serious with eachother?
I care about him a lot and i would really like the relationship to work out but i could use someone else's advice. thank you.

Ok, I have this friend that knows I really like this one guy. A few minutes after I told her that she asked him out and she always hugs him in front of me and everything. It is getting really annoying. When she asked him out he said, "yea but what about tyler?" And then she said "I dunno yet," and I am so confused with her. She has been going out with both for a week and she knows how much I like the one guy. My names cherry, im 15 years old and me and my boyfriend mark have been together for almost a month. I no i'm young but i really do love him so much and recently one of his close mates is saying all this horrible stuff like, "oh you can do better.. bla blaa" and he dosen't even no me and i don't even no him :S but yea ever since he's said this mark's been acting really weird with me.. like he won't say love you and hes deleted the pictures of me and him off his phone. I've obviously asked him why he's been acting different and he claim's he hasn't.. I've also asked him if he's going to dump me and he says no.. but i really don't know what to think.. has anyone ever been in a situation like this? Thanks, Cherry x
