Okay so I have like a BEST friend we have been really good friends since like 4th grade and now we are in 8th well ever sinve like last year she has been blowing me off for this other girll I'll call ash well whenever I ask like what shes doing shell be like oh Im staying after and Ill be like ohh cool for anything fun and she'll be like no not really but than later it comes out that she was with ash and I just bugs me that she wouldnt tell me where she was going..is it just me and what can I do so it doesnt bug me as much..Thanks

Why is music on a downward spiral?

I am new to this site and it seems infested with young teenagers asking about bands who care more about their image than their music. Since when do trends like black hair and girls jeans take precedence on what muscians are there for in the first place? Everyone is following a cookie cutter sound and it seems no one cares about throwing something fresh into the music community and that the only way to get noticed is to follow the crowd.
I guess what I'm asking is, are the cookie cutter image based bands just marketed well and forced upon youth, or are kids not being exposed to the real music enough for them to get into it?

I recenty have been hanging out with my guys friends alot. There is this one guy that just had his birthday, and now he is 18. I really like him and i know he likes me, but he is just too affraid because i am younger than him. He is soo sweet and soo cute, i just cant stop liking him. What should i do?

Hey everyone. I'm kind of stuck in a situation that I don't know what to do with, please help. Recently my friends have been noticing alot of changes in my mood, such as it changing every few minutes; Like from excited to depressed in 2 minutes. My friend's dad has Bipolar Disorder, and she says that I may have it too. Well I'm really tired of being like this, because I just want to be happy, without the feelings of sadness all of the time. I want to ask my parents if I can go see a doctor about this, but my parents never take me seriously. I'm 15 years old and they still treat me like a 10 year old. If I were to ask them then they would laugh in my face and say nothing was wrong with me; 'It's all in my head' would probably be a response. ...

Ok, so this guy that I am in love with and yes I am positive it is love, well he is being a total jerk about it. He doesn't want to open up and share emotions, he never wants to be around me anymore, he has girls as friends, but tries to like hint that they are more... I'm not sure what he problem is, he has said "I love you too" or "I love you" to me before but lately we have been bickering because of stress on both parts and its just dramatic and we both hate it... I try to tell him how I feel, but he thinks that its stupid infatuation and virgin attachment (he was my first). I think else wise because of the way I am... its hard to express in words how it is. He makes me heart flutter fast but slow, Im thinking nonstop...

Can't give advice

My girlfriend and I have been in a very seriuos relationship for about a year and a half. She doesn't really have many other friends other than me and hesitates when turning to her parents. (I am 17 she is 16). This leads me to one problem. When she needs to turn to someone, I'm the only one left. I love when she turns to me with her problems. It makes me feel like I help her out, but a lot of the time I don't know how to give her advice. The latest thing is that she's been under a lot of stress. She baby sits a metaly disturbed child who threatens her and she is taking advanced placement classes in school. I want to help her manage her time but it's hard to give her advice on a situation I've never been in. Please help me help her.

My friend just broke up with her boyfriend, and he happens to be one of my really good friends. For the past couple of weeks shes been treating him like dirt and she even told him that she had him rapped around her finger! I thought that was really mean of her. Anyways, they broke up today and now he is sooo sad. He loved her so much and I don't know what to say to him. He's so upset. What do I tell him? I keep telling him it's not his fault but he's just like ugh =(.
