They actually say if you get your hair trimmed ever 6 weeks it will grow faster because u wont have a bunch of split ends...so u could try that. Good luck. [ xGrApEyGrLx's advice column | Ask xGrApEyGrLx A Question ]

If you want healthy AND long hair try not to dye it because the dye weakens the hair.
Also, don't blow dry your hair, I find it dries it out.
And use a really good shampoo like dove.

With or without gloves, it's your problem not mine. Wait a bit for the chemicals to settle in. You might feel a slight stinging sensation but that means that it's working. You hair will gorw luscious and long in a matter fo DAYS! Or you'll get cancer. Maybe both.. But HEY! HAIR! It's so worth it. [ XtineMaximus's advice column | Ask XtineMaximus A Question ]
Juicygirl answered Thursday September 22 2005, 10:14 pm: Unfortunately, there is no way to make your hair grow faster. Your hair grows about half an inch each month, which varies seasonally. Factors affecting hairgrowth are your hair care products, and poor diet, illness, medication, emotional stress can actually slow down the process. Studies show that most of the "hairgrowth miracle serums" are basically just a bunch of crap that does not work. "All sorts of conclusions were drawn from what seemed like reasonable observation, but was more often than not just pure conjecture based on COINCIDENCES. "
Continue with regular shampooing/conditioning, take your daily dose of vitamins (more won't help you), and just don't stress about it and it'll grow out before you know it. Besides, you can enjoy the low maintenance that short hair offers and it makes it easier style your hair in ways you could not with your longer, harder-to-manage hair. You won't even miss it ;)
