my boyfriend (20) and i (18) will be together for 4 months on oct. 30. he wants to go to a halloween party, well just any party. i doubt we will dress up but i have never been to a party with him and i wont know anyone there. he thinks that i just dont like going to parties with him because i tell him no more then once now. i do want too but i dont want him thinking im too shy i guess. i have a hard time talking to ppl so at a party it will be harder and i dont want to be by his side 24-7. along with that ive been to some parties mainly just kickbacks, im not a big partier. the drinking isnt a problem because i dont mind saying no, its just meeting people and talking to them and keeping a conversation going. and i believe that partys i have...

How do you stop a woman from being controlling

I'm a man in my mid-20's, and I've started to notice that my girlfriend of five years is very, very controlling. Like talking to a bunch of people (myself included) like she's our mother.
Now, I'm perfectly fine with a woman who can express what she wants, but how do you get her to realize that she can't control everyone, me especially, without it causing a meltdown? I mean, if this relationship goes to marriage, I need her to know that when I have a strong decision about our future, she can't just ignore me and do whatever.

this is going to sound pretty stupid but I'm genuinely curious about what other people do. i can't seem to make it through a day without thinking of a guy, going out with a guy, my future life with a guy...the weird thing is, it's not even one guy! i could really have no feelings for a guy friend but think about them a lot...i guess just because i always have to daydream about someone. how do you stop that??? i know friends with the same problem. just curious about answers. :)

Ok so i have this BF we will call him Josh. Well He asked me to home coming like 5 mins to home coming because his date ditched him for his friend.We will call her Jess. He was going to ask her out but changed his mind because she went after his friend named Zach. Well Josh asked me out at home coming and I told him yes.its been about a week and Zach and some of his other friend said that josh might dump me soon because thats how he is. im a senior and my boyfriend is a freshman in college. he is going to homecoming with me. normally at the game everyone goes all out with their mums and garters. since im a senior mine will be white. but am i susposed to make him one? would it be white or the school colors?

so my ex and i were together for a year and half. and we broke up like 2 months ago. i am soo ready to just move on, but it seems like there's no one there that likes me, or wants to be with me. What should i do? i really want to just move on and forget about my ex. but i just need somebody to move onto.

So, there's this guy that I've liked for about a year or so and mostly everyone in my grade (9th) knows because of my blabber-mouthed ex-friends...
I really want to go to the dance with someone, so I would very much like to ask him.
Problem is, he's ALWAYS around his friends (the preps) and he's extremely shy. I don't think he's going out with anyone right now, however, but I don't know how to ask him without it seeming overly obvious because, as I said before, he's ALWAYS around his friends.
We're friends on myspace, but we don't usually talk a lot inside or outside of school - would it be alright to send him a message, asking him if he wants to go to the dance with me?
I'm confus...

Well i will start off by saying i am never this shy around girls, but I have a huge crush on this girl at my campus library, she is always there studying. (very cute) I met her last year while studying for finals. I will start from the beginning real quick. she knows i think she is cute because my friend went up to her and told her. A couple of days later we talked for about 1/2 hour after she called me over in the library. Well she told me to facebook her and i did, along with my 2 friends that secretly did it as well, and she deleted us all when she found out. my best friend and love of my life wants to join the marines wen he gets out of high school. he is into all the dangerous stuff n im so scared that something will happen to him. i want to be happy for him and i support him in his decision but i really dont want him to go. can anyone give some help on how to get through this because im having a really difficult time with it and ive even cried about it. and i dont want to tell my boy about it because i want him to know i support him in everything he does.i just dont want anything to happen to him but i always see how many marines die on the news and stuff. thank you for the help!!!!

Okay so this guy and I had been best friends for a year or two. We decided to date. Then one day out of the blue he broke up with me. I finally got over it and moved on. Now I am dating my best (guy) friend's brother. He's the best. Like my true love. =] It's just that my ex told me he still likes me. I told him I was in love with my boyfriend, but he just won't give up. It's been like this for THREE months. What do I do? He makes my life horrible sometimes and he makes my boyfriend really mad. It's getting better now....but he still likes me and he won't stop telling me things that I don't want to hear. What do you think?

ok. i have a boyfriend, we have been going out for about a month and a half. we dont do alot together becase i'm really busy. well everytime we do something together he doesnt talk to me for like half an hour, he is supper shy and i think he is like scared of me or something, but i know he really likes me. i'm kind of shy to so this is really hard. its really hard to talk when were together, so what should we do becase we really like eachother??

Am I over reacting?

I'm a 41 year old female and I've recently found out that my husband of 16 years is communicating with a women he was engaged to when we first met. I don't really care that he's spoken to her, I'm not an over jealous person, but I am rather hurt that he hasn't mentioned it to me. It gives me the feeling that there's a reason why he didn't say anything. And the longer it goes on and he doesn't mention it I'm starting to become terribly hurt by this because it feels like a type of betrayal.
Am I over reacting? I know people react differently but if I was in contact with an ex-boyfriend I would probably tell him about it right away.

Okay, so, theres this kid. we'll call him "jack" we went out about 4 years ago. Ever since then I cant get him off of my mind. whenever we talk on the phone i cant stop thinking about him for weeks after and even when we dont talk on the phone i still cant stop thinking about him. If I have a boyfriend my relationship suffers because of me not being able to stop thinking or wanting him back. However, whenever he has a girlfriend it doesn't bother me. Ok so my boyfriend lives in Mexico, and I live in the USA, and he is coming to visit next summer for like three weeks. i am sixteen, and worried because it is his first visit here and he will stay in my families house, and it seems like it would just be really awkward the whole time, like with my parents around and everything, like I know my parents will understand that we need privacy and everything, but the fact that they know what we are doing just seems so awkward... Will it be as weird as I think, or am I overreacting? He and my parents get along fine, but I don't know... Any advice would be good

I really really like this guy. We can talk about anything, he makes me laugh, smile, all those things. I just feel so happy whenever I'm around him or talking to him. And, I even feel happy when I'm not around him...by this I mean it's not some kind of unhealthy "I need to be next to him at all times or else I die inside" crush.
Anyway, I really want to go out with him. And I'm pretty sure he wants to go out with me too. The only problem is...his parents.
They don't let him date anyone outside of his beliefs. And I'm Catholic and he's Protestant. So we can't be together. It really hurts that the only reason we're not together is because I worship in a different way than him. It just seems like such an old-fashioned way of doing things.
